48:15 RE: Opening for Muse and finding out a week before. Based on an interview with Rudu Joffroy (Manager) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHvOm5R7oLVgbKMsi=2EBdLrYsP_NK8su4&t=2040 and Lalo (Live sound engineer) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmGUh2iInN2nidksi=m7Mfuy97zX2C1Ys9 audio is in Spanish, but the subtitles are good. The band that was scheduled to open for Muse in Mexico was a band that The Warning had previously toured. Rudy as a courtesy called their team and offered support if they needed anything, (tech, equipment, people) and found out from them that they were not going to do the shows. Rudy then went back to Muse management and informed THEM that they no longer had an opening act. Afterwards Rudy and his team worked their magic and got the opening slot for The Warning. That was the reason the inclusion of the warning was so last minute. The Warning was not the first choice but was able to capitalize on the opportunity. Gotta admire their tenacity and dedication.
@Itzzy5158 ай бұрын
Yes, the band was The Pretty Reclets who wanted more money for the concerts in Mexico because they thought the band was at a very high level and they didn't agree with what they were going to pay them. Muse said no and they decided not to go at the last minute.

I feel that they are wonderful musicians and deserve to be treated well. 10 years is nothing to spit at; they act like veterans in the music business. Maybe they could bump the sound guy out of his seat and do their own sound check! They could do a BTS and let you do the reaction!! This interview seems to be going well. So cool that you decided to watch this. I think this interview is one of the best "get to know you" pieces I have seen on The Warning. There is a lot in information in here. But for me (as another one of the supportive and protective uncles in TWA), just seeing how well grounded, thoughtful, intelligent, dedicated they are to their craft, to each other, to their fans, to the other bands is really impressive. Yes, wise beyond their years for sure. I have met them a number of times, and I can tell you that they are this way when you meet them as well. Would it surprise me that some time down the road that - Dany is operating and teaching at some music academy - Pau is running some portion of the music or business world - Ale is the next Carol Kaye Absolutely not.

@racetime19608 ай бұрын
Check out Mayday in the Making. They talk about festivals early on the attitude they got was what are these little girls gonna do. They made believers out of crews, crowds, and bands. So being women played into it some I myself would guess it had as much to do with the fact that they were quite young. The Warning were playing festivals at 11, 14, and 16 years old.
@JuanLopez-fo7cs8 ай бұрын
The part of the interview were they go into the topic about the prejudice The Warning receives, well there is a certain group of people out there who don't take this girls seriously and that is just sad like you said. They have been dealing with that since the beginning.

I terms of the social media, they do have their own personal accounts,and patreon that they do interact with. But the other sites they stay away from. They also each have a day a week they do personal interactions with fans. Friday is Dany day, Saturday is Pau day and Sunday is Ale day.
@tay136668 ай бұрын
Also, it doesn't matter how supportive the community is, it can be horrible at times. Have you seen the venom from fans over the new sound they have on the studio releases lately? Fans can be more brutal than haters sometimes. And as empathetic as the ladies are, I think they would take a lot of that personally if they read it. So yeah, only interact on their own terms and stay away from the comments section.

I've seen this engrossing interview at least two dozen times, and it's fascinating. Jeremy, as the "driver" of your videos I noticed a couple of instances where I thought you might have better control by using keyboard shortcuts, which I am still learning myself. For example, the left arrow rewinds the playback five seconds, and the letter "j" rewinds ten seconds, which is very convenient for backing up after a pause for your commentary. I would think most reactors would find that suggestion very useful. The available shortcuts can be found in your account menu. Happy reacting! 👍

One on my favorite pieces of media that shines a light on the dynamics between the three of them is their multi-part vlog on their first tour of Argentina. The third part remains a Patreon exclusive, but the first two are hilarious.

TW have probably talked to thousands upon thousands of their fans through their M&G’s before basically every headlining show. Their M&G’s are fairly cheap, around $100 including the ticket for the show. They treat everyone like family. They are by no means isolated from their fans and choose not to enable the haters. They talked several times about being grounded. I think that they do an excellent job because their fanbase overloads them with adulation and it seems it would be incredibly easy for them to believe their own hype and it doesn’t seem that is affecting them at this time.

They do/did get snubbed at gigs, occasionally - I'm not sure that it's because they're a female group or if it's because they're young "upstarts", so to say. They've commented on several occasions about not being able to get time to do proper soundchecks, like being told there won't be a soundcheck, then maybe being given a few minutes to squeeze one in. I seem to recall Guns 'N Roses snubbing them, in Mexico. Dany, Pau and Ale didn't make an issue of it and talk about it, but it's visible in their social media feed. I can see how perspective might play into things, if other bands at festivals are treated one way and their band is treated somewhat differently. I would say that it is a rare occurence, but it has happened. Also, take into account that at least half of their shows are in other countries, which may have different social norms. (I'm not there, I don't know, but from travels, years ago, I know that things are different in different parts of the world.)

There is no way they could read and look at all their social media. Most content providers have many accounts, so they have people for that and do the management of those accounts. I remember Elisabeth (Charismatic Voice) talking about it once, a number of years back and she was saying she had a team of three that managed her social media, releasing the videos reviewing the comments. She said they passed on the more interesting comments and overviews. They also look at the site trends and where else you are mentioned and in what context. Once you are big it does become over whelming. In the early days DPA also had their dad review and censer all the comments, as some were not really appropriate and not just in that way. A lot of their subjects in their songs were of a mature subject so some of the discussions could be a little more adult.

The only thing that really annoys me about this interview is the eternal women's issue. I mean that being a woman is constantly made an issue by this moderator. She wants to turn this into a problem and thus increase women's performance even higher. So not that the women are where they are because of their hard work , but because they have supposedly managed to do so in her opinion, despite the fact that they are women. Which is not an issue in the rock metal industry in the absolute majority. I hate it when people twist realities in order to put other people higher, by belittling or badmouthing others. Especially noticeable because these 3 girls absolutely don't need that, because they are loved and also by men and not because they are women but because they make good music, rock and are super likeable.

3:40 "that doesn't even sound fun".. well I sure hope they don't try it again. Just stick to writing their own music.

Thumbs down. Who are you to say how they should or should not interact with their fans? There are more ways than just social media to do that. If I were in their position I wouldn't read comments either. It's too easy to get sucked into that nonsense when the best way to show their fans they appreciate them is to continue to write great music. Terrible take.

I hear some male bias in your comments, think about it!!

Male bias? Lol. You’re entitled to your opinion, but you really don’t know much about me to say such a thing. I was pretty much raised by females, my mom…5 sisters….no brothers…I mean, I have the utmost respect for women and always treat them with such respect. My “bias” comes from having 15 years experience in the music industry…from performing with female acts, bands with female members, or engineering solo female artists and female bands. So, my words and opinions are based solely on the many, many first hand experiences I’ve had and seen. I think that gives me a pretty good reason to have the opinions I do. I never said others’ experiences aren’t theirs…I was just surprised sometimes because I see contrary things sometimes. That’s also valid, right? 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
