This song was the last one 22nd after 21 of their original songs. It was requested by the organizer of this private event that was part of their Kickstarter campaign of their QOTMS album. Before the song the shout. This is for you (Name), not included in the video they released. To note is that Ale has just turned 14 years here and Pau is to turn 17, Dany 19 just weeks after the gigs....I was at this event and it was unforgettable

Interesting to note in the video's description their ages are shown a year younger. But if this was in January 2019, they would have been the ages you show. 🤷🏻♂ Copy and paste error? Oversight? Who knows.

This performance got them an open invitation to play The Whiskey any time they wanted, when none of them were old enough to be in a bar. They've played The Whiskey 7 times, and debuted their fourth album, Keep Me Fed, there. The Whiskey was warned and has a wonderful relationship with the ladies. ❤️⚡🤘

Nice Reaction! The biggest difference between this cover and Metallica's, besides the difference of 2 vs. 1 guitar, is that this drummer sings!

What does gassed mean?

@AceofBadeReacts Very tired. At one point close to the end the headstock of her bass hits the floor. I watch a lot of hockey, I think gassed might be a hockey term lol.

@@spidernose The headstock doesn't hit the floor. What happens is Ale gets her foot caught in her dress(?) doing her moves and she stumbles a bit but she catches the neck of the bass before the headstock hits the stage. The sound is just her grabbing the neck in a panic to prevent it from hitting the ground. There's fan came footage where you can see what happens. The one on Tim Little's channel has a good view.

I believe it was a special request by the guy that organised the gig . . I think it may have been his birthday . . . They did play the Whiskey on other occasions . . Notably the Whiskeys 55th birthday in 2014 . .

Great job, new sub here because I check out every reaction to this performance, my favorite TW cover along with "THE PRETENDER - FOO FIGHTERS COVER - THE WARNING - OUT OF THE BASEMENT". I really like your relaxed style and that you mention details about the playing even the wrong notes also Dany's Guitar work, her ability to smoothly switch from chords to lead. She is at the top of my favorite guitarists list that started with Clapton when I was 15. You mentioned this performance gets you, it gets me every time I watch it remembering how young they are and Ale's confidence at 14 amazes me. Another to check out just released "The Warning LIVE Pol'and'Rock Festival 2024 (FULL CONCERT)" how can they keep getting better and better. Dany's vocals and tone are becoming amazingly beautiful.

I did check out that Foo Fighters cover with another guest. Even though I'm not a Foo Fighters fan, I thought they did a fantastic job on it. I am planning on checking out another performance for The Warning when I start reacting again (Currently about 4ish weeks ahead, so it would come out in February sometime) and I was planning on checking out a performance from 2024

three teenage girls doing the work of four established adult musicians We could do a mental exercise: 1.- We removed Kirk Kemit, we left James alone with his guitar. Trujillo on bass and Lars on drums 2.- We have Lars sing the choruses.(🤭) 3.- Finally, we put them in the time machine and leave James with 18, Lars with 16 and Trujillo with 14 (😂) Now yes, let's compare.

They stopped doing covers after their first album release in 2017. They did Atlas Rise at the Whiskey in 2018 as a birthday present for the manager and recently did the Alanis Morrisette cover of You Oughta Know. Most major bands have done and still do covers in their careers, but TW haven't included covers on their albums.

As noted, this was at the end of a *long* set. I haven't found a record of the whole concert, but a couple things seem to be clear. This was done for "one [of] our dear friends and ultimate fans" as noted by the band in the video's description. Ale was near exhaustion by the end. You can see she's barely able to hold up her fret arm.
