Your reaction to that guitar solo was basically what I was doing in my head when I first heard it. Also, I'm so envious because I have absolutely no one who I can even call up on the phone and say "did you hear that?" I wanted to do exactly the same thing y'all did... well, except I don't know Will, but I had the same lighting bolt hit me. Z is such an awesome song. What I like about it best is that it's pure The Warning. A lot of other bands will stay within a very narrow style of music. The Warning defy designation and definitions. They just slay with however they feel to rock out a song. Z is total proof.

On the 6th of this month I was in Monterrey and saw them live at a show called Desvelados and they performed the whole Mayday EP, it was awesome, spot on and with this song during the guitar solo Dany pulled off an Eddy Van Halen and had both hands on the neck and tapping away! I freaked out it was so cool! At the end that scream was a Pau scream also!

They are gonna play this Sunday at Rockville festival Daytona, Florida. And I’m going! I’m going to see them live for the first time. I’m so excited. I missed their liveshows at the whisky LA, I couldn’t make it to see them back then. But now I’m finally going to see them. And this song is one of my fav from the EP. Actually there is a live version, they played this song live last Saturday at desvelados TV. It was amazing.

I am so happy for you!! I've got Troubadour tickets. I've seen them thrice so far. Anyone who's seen them will tell you, as cool as you imagine it's gonna be, you're not even in the ballpark of how awesome a live set from The Warning really is. Just love "Z" especially the live version from a few days ago on Desvelados,Danys shredding is great,along with that crazy bass line from Ale,and Paus thundering drums never disappoint,but the vocals from all 3 on this are awesome and Paus vocals at the end just bring the song to another level.

Apparently, from interviews, this is their favorite song to play from the new EP. I can see why. Pau gets to just pound away at her kit. Ale carries the backbone of the song all the way through. Dany is unleashed to melt faces! Great song! It was so fun to watch them play it live on "Desvelados" live on Saturday!
