I don’t care what people say right now because all that matters is what we’ve already accomplished, winning 4 championships in 7 years. No, their luck just ran out. Warriors been done for like 4 years. In 2022, nearly every team they played and all the best teams had significant injuries. Ja Morant was about to bounce them early, in just his 2nd year before he got hurt. Last year, Kings were about to bounce them in the 1st round before De'Aaron Fox hurt his hand.

I had to laugh when Mike suggested Klay Thompson "accept $20-25 million a season." The Golden State Warriors already offered a 2 yr/$48 million extension at the beginning of the 2023-24 season. Klay is going to regret turning that contract down if his goal is to remain a Warrior. Most likely, Golden State's new final offer, after the inconsistent season Thompson just had, is in the $17-19 million per season range. 🏀

Addition by substraction. Trade Draymond for another defensive minded C (I am thinking of Capela) Cut CP3, let Klay go. Get a good PG/SG backup via MLE (The Warriors would be well unter the line at this point.) Sign another wing with the Bi Annual and resign Saric Starters: Curry/Podziemski/Wiggins/Kuminga/Capela Bench: MLE guard/GP II/Moody/Bi-Annual wing/Jackson-Davis/Saric/Looney Then hope that Kuminga can take another step, Podziemski can take another step, Moody can finally be consisten and TJD can be better... IF that all happens, the Warriors have one more chance to compete. Maybe not next season, but in Currys last year.

It was over ever since they kept Andrew Wiggins after that first year they signed him. Dude never got better and he's a reliability, Klay Thompson is a catch and shoot type of shooter. Meaning Andrew Wiggins job was to penetrate to be the third scorer where dish out to either Curry or Klay for a shot, and he's not been doing that at all. He messed up the whole flow of the game and everybody struggles because of that
