@westcoast92857 күн бұрын
Hield addition was brilliant. Kerr loves to play with his rotations early on so don’t be suprised if Hield is starting at some point or another at the 2 spot. Ironically even if the Warriors can’t get Markkanen I think they’ll be more competitive this upcoming season. They are hungry with a lot to prove and DEEP again. They lost CP3 who’s a great distributor but wasn’t healthy a big chunk and couldn’t consistently score or defend anything. And Klay who salute to him was a part of the dynasty but had his worst year of his career after getting almost 200 million to be hurt half the contract Dubs got deeper at distributor wing(size and defense) Draymond role with Slomo and shooting with Melton and Hield. If they can score 1 more above average signing I’ll give Dunlevy the full W offseason even with Klays departure
@QueMusiQ7 күн бұрын
People saying he has a lower shooting percentage than Klay have at least one flaw in that argument: Klay often had another player on the perimeter with unheard of shooting ability in the history of the league, and a coach who a sniper too. They changed how offenses are thought of when you have two gunnery sergeants shooting from deep like Leroy Jethro. I submit that there’s a better than decent chance - CHANCE - that Buddy 🇧🇸 in the GSW offense is put in position to excel as a 3 point specialist in a way he never had before. I’d imagine he’s been on offenses that tried to utilize him in that way and build toward his skillset, but those teams didn’t have a shooter like Wardell on the other side as part of a big three. Same would go for if they brought in Seth or Dame. Part of WHY the Splash Brothers were such phenomenal shooters was because two of them is all but impossible to defend against. Moreover, everywhere else Buddy has played, he was “the guy”. He was the Steph Curry of that team. Now, he gets to be the Steph Oregano, let Steph be the curry goat. He can be the Sheep Tongue Souse. Boil Fish, just getting buckets. Because of that dynamic with Dray and Kuminga and whomever - he’s doing to be wide open. He won’t even need to dribble. He can set shoot much more than he’s ever had the luxury to do elsewhere since he’s not called upon to be Steph if Steph right there.
@kermicgreen33707 күн бұрын
Yeah I agree. With Hield on the floor, other teams won’t be able to double Steph. If the Duds can land Lauri, this offense will be NICE! With SloMo and Melton, the perimeter D will be vastly improved from last year. Let’s go duds. Start the season 20-0😅😊

With little to no defense, they'll be lucky to make to the play-in game. Off nights happen to every team and what gets those teams through those off nights is defense. A fairly clickbait hyped title but than that is stock in trade for these channels. Buddy is a better shooter than Klay these days even if his career hasn't amounted to even half of what Klay has achieved. He's a bit younger, more athletic. I wouldn't call him a willing defender but if he's coached up properly and used appropriately then his poor defence shouldn't be too detrimental. Most importantly him, Slo Mo etc were all brought in on reasonable deals that helps to reset the payroll of the franchise at something that gives them options going forward. No team but the absolute best of contenders wants to be over the 2nd apron these days. It's just not worth it. Short of a miracle they won't be a serious playoff team let alone contending but they should at least be more entertaining without Klank chucking the team out of game. Let's see if Kerr has learn't anything or if he still tries to roll out 4 guard lineups 'for spacing'.
