I mean Kobe retired at 37 and Shaq was 39. Yes Shaq was woefull in his last year but Kobe was arguably worse that last year I mean there's his last game. But other than that he averaged 15 PPG on woefull shooting like 37% from the field. He was so hurt later in his career I believe there is a happy medium I feel he over trained and Shaq under trained.

Shaq only won 2 more rings, 1 of which came when he was a mere role player averaging 12.1 ppg against the Mavs down 2-0 while Dwayne Wade single handedly carried them to the championship. It’s close it most aspects but I see Hakeem as being the far superior player while a slightly worse career overall.
