The Watchdogs are one of Elden Rings weirdest Enemies and this Staff has it's own quirks to say the least... This run is part of a challenge I did to complete multiple different no-hit runs that my viewers requested before the end of 2022. There were 40 requests and I managed to complete them all just in time.

Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

This weapon is a solid option for strength builds in casual play because it allows you to get magic damage and a projectile without any investment in intelligence. It's also very easily accessible, from the very start. Really underrated.

The projectiles being slow but tracking extremely well forces people yo dodge in PvP allowing for frame trapping if timed right. An exceptionally well rounded weapon honestly.

When I played for the first run blind on release week, this puppy carried me through 90% of the game. I did end up respeccing to finish off Malenia/Elden Beast but will always hold a special palce in my heart for good ol Watchdog Staff.

arcane bleed build for malenia, then for elden beast I respeced again to a faith build, equipped only the great heal spell so my mimic would spam it to get through the fight. you could also with that build equip only mana flasks to spam weapon arts as great heal was more effective than estus@@thedudeNYAAATHEDUDY

Haha that's awesome. I've been wanting to run an Imp build character, but idk if I want to do a Forked Greatsword with a Forked Htachet in the offhand, or just straight-up dual-wield Forked Hatchets. Both sound fun in their own right.

@@audreyii5087 don't deul wield the hatchets, their only saving grace is a unique and slightly faster hatchet moveset only shaded by the regular hatchet. They still have the normal speed axe deul wield moveset and they're the shortest axe by far. The only upside to them is their innate bleed so slowing them down is not advisable.

Fun fact, idk if anyone will see but, if you talk to Bernahl at the shack, do ryas quest up to going to volcano manor, kill one npc invader, and talk to bernal in the manor, and you can get gambit that way too. no need to kill 3 npcs or rykard.

damn, I was interested in chess boxing for a minute there. When I first heard of it I was thinking two people who has 16 boxers or general different types of fighters (each style representing a different piece), as their team playing chess with the boxers/fighters as human chess pieces and a chess master commanding them, in order to take another piece the two pieces fight.

if you carry the beast torch, the dog wont chase you so after picking up soreseal you can teleport out of the castle.
