i looked into it a bit and apparently they've used AI art as placeholders before (from the lead dev's words specifically), but I don't know if there is any AI art in the game currently or not something about the game's art style really really reads as generated and it feels so weird to me, but i do know the devs have been posting art for it for 6+ years by now on their own channel

If you mean NFT like literal trading crypto, there's no blockchain interactions like with Axie Infinity or something. Edit: after some investigation it looks like the game will in fact have some form of NFT integration. It looks like it'll remain a separate thing from the autobattler though? But yeah that's on me for not actually checking.

Oh it’s 100% an NFT game, but seems very light compared to the silly monkey ones. Like I think you can play the game completely fine without needing NFT stuff for anything
