This lengthy train originates in France, passes through the Channel Tunnel and carries bottled water to Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal from where the water is distributed across the UK. It runs nearly daily, occasionally with two trains per day.
It generally passes through Loughborough Junction in south London at around 9am. There are four tracks here and usually it runs on the tracks closest to the camera (the up Atlantic line) but sometimes uses the up Catford Loop as pictured here. There is quite a steep gradient between Denmark Hill station and this point, so if it is slowed or stopped by a signal, it can take a while to get its speed back up.
