Hundreds of us, young students, falling out of the pubs and all heading for a burger and chips at Supermacs in Eyre Square, Galway, Ireland. Mid-1980s. The Whole of the Moon blaring on a speaker system around the square. Never forget it. I think The Waterboys were recording in a Galway studio at the time. Absolutely the best time to be alive.
