Hello Jack.. how to solve ankle pain issue? Especially on my left foot. Currently I'm using twister edge for about a year.. thx.. nice place to made video btw
@jacobgoettsche22712 жыл бұрын
Hard to say exactly what your issue is. Have you seen an athletic trainer or physical therapist? They could probably help you identify what is creating the pain. When I was having knee pain issues, it was because I had weak core muscles. So it could be have weak calves or quads? I hope you are able to find the root cause and fix it soon. Having pain anywhere sucks. Safe skating! :-)

Hi Jake would love a video on T stop please for beginners
@jacobgoettsche22712 жыл бұрын
Thank you Candy Plummer for your comment. I will definitely make a video about T stops. At the end of October I am making a video about crossovers. I will try and make a video about T stops around that same time as well. Thanks for your patience, and have fun skating! :-)

So one legging it 60 percent weight in ankles going forward and opposite going backwards 👍
@jacobgoettsche22712 жыл бұрын
When I'm actually on one leg, it is more like 70 percent in the heel/ankles. When I'm using both, then it is about 60 percent. Hope that helps. Also, I hope your feeling better and healing is going fast.

@@stevemcgowan3017 we recorded the crossovers video last Sunday. However, while editing we noticed there was to much background noise. I am suppose to record the video again this Friday, while outside, but the weather is calling for rain. Hopefully things will come together and I can post one soon. I really appreciate your patience with me. I have been working 50 to 60 hours a week at my day job. Awesome that you performed a crossover last night. :-)

@@jacobgoettsche2271 hi Jacob thanks for reply.yes we got rain next couple days but this in-line rink we found is on tonight 6 to 8 pm it’s in a large old aircraft hangar it includes football pitch and weight train and spin bike machines too it’s massive.just 4£ per session and short drive from us.There is even a disco Friday nights skating .They say it’s kids mostly well I’m a kid at heart ❤️ .Perhaps can wear a John Travolta dance suit eh?😃

now i realise why i dont like quads

I’m thinking it’s more difficult as my period of window cleaning has taken a toll.nearly 40 years.although I pulled my right ankle muscle a bit trying a crossover on inlines on first try.bad mistake.the ankle is ok at work.Just trying to train myself slowly now.if can improve on each leg people people say progress will be quicker then.I’ve got to try now before it’s too late 😮

Sorry to hear that Steve! My next video is actually on crossovers. I will be shooting it on the 16th of this month. Be sure to ice that area to bring down the inflammation. Get better soon, and go slow. :-)

Maybe I should just skate instead of practising one foot skating
@stevemcgowan30172 жыл бұрын
Hi Jacob I’ve just managed about 2 miles of inline skating.that’s furthest been so far.I used the road quite a bit as was smooth it was early not much traffic.just one minor fall off the road.my ankles didn’t ache like before I found need tighten laces at front boot more too.I feel still need build strength for more control yet .so I need to push my shins towards boot it seems for better balance.
