안녕하세요 여러분~!
오늘은 광복이가 밀키를 놀래키거나 먼저 장난을 치는 모습을 담아봤습니다. 아무래도 고양이라 주로 빠르게 도망다니거나 숨는일이 많거든요. 밀키는 그에비해 덩치가 커서 잘 따라가지 못하구요..ㅎㅎ; 가끔 밀키가 안쓰럽다...생각이 들다가도 바로 다음날이면 밀키가 광복이를 먼저 약올리고있어서 그래...너희둘이 그렇지머...하고 둘때가 많아요 ;;ㅎㅎ 아직 둘다 어린애들이라 신나게 노는게 익숙할때라..ㅋㅋㅋ
밀키가 광복이한테 먼저 장난칠때도많은데 다음에 기회되면 같이 한번 담아보겠습니다 ㅎㅎ

​@Peter Phillips Actually you do train your kids to stay off the furniture. Sometimes you have to set rules otherwise they start doing parkour off the tabletops and counters and they're going to demolish your antique coffee table. It's OK to set boundaries for your kids and your pets.

When the two animal dog or cat grow up together and live in a single house the two of them create a bond playing with each other and eating food sleeping together it's soo cute.

Growing up together helps a lot. My kitten is about 20 weeks now, and has slept with my shiba from week 12, they are best friends now. The dog is very protective of her. My other (tom)cat was a few years when I got my dog. They had to get used to each other for a while, but after half a year, they sleep together, and we take walks with the whole group everyday to promote the group feeling. People react very surprised when I walk them as a group (no leashes on the cats), its funny (I do try to walk when there are no other dogs in the park).

@@rdu239 If they grow up together, there should be no problems to speak of. Fusing a dog or cat with a kitten or puppy will almost always go well: unless the adult animal has had negative experiences with the other race, there should be no problem at all. Putting an adult dog and an adult cat together is tricky. But it can be done for sure: given enough time and patience. When my dog came into the house, I had two adult cats. So he invaded their space. I made sure the cats could sit high up away from the dog. I made a room where the dog could not go in, but the cats could. I made an entry/exit in that room to the outworld. I first kept my leach on the dog when I stepped into the house with him. He would detect the cats, and go into 'hunt & kill' mode, but I block that with my body, calm him down, let him do a trick and give him a treat. I tried to connect this in the dogs brain: 'see cat? go to human, get treat'. I also feed them together: but the cats have their food high up, so the dog cant get to it. They HAVE to be together in the kitchen, or no food. They soon 'get it': they wait together in the kitchen politely for the meals. I swap scents off course, early on. After about 10 days, I trusted my dog to not go after the cats, and took the leash off indoors. I do things like: when the dog is sleeping on the bed, I hold and cuddle one of my cat, and walk with him into the room, stay in a while, then out. Then: sit down with the cat, far away from the dog, on the bed. Then: close by. Then: with the cat on the bed, and the dog on the bed. Now: they sleep together with me in the bed, no problem. You have to drain the 'hunting energy' out of both races: play 'hunt' games with the cats till they are exhausted (so they wont play-hunt the dog for fun), and walk/train/exercise the dog regularly, so he is tired and calm in the house, and has no more 'have to hunt today' feelings. With the cats I have this rule of thumb: if they NEVER experience the dog going after them: they build trust over time. If you EVER let the dog rush the cat: they cat will be wary from then on. So never ever let that happen (by using a leash and physically blocking the dog when you dont trust them enough).

I've just noticed that GB never uses his claws when it comes to Milky's nose Dogs' noses are extremely sensitive and cats naturally (somehow they know) target the noses. It's great to watch old videos and travel back to Milky's puppyhood
