Love it. I would argue that the football enthusiasm is derived from the fact that games like that are mini simulations of life. When you see someone follow the rules and encourage their teammates and compete courageously and improve overtime it gets us hyped because it’s how we want to see someone live. When it happens through life events it’s just more drawn out across time. I think if you witnessed someone coming to Christ and being forgiven over the course of a couple of minutes you would be jumping up and down. It is exciting. But when it happens overtime your joy comes out slowly.
