In hindsight, I don’t think it really taught me much but how bad someone will treat you just so they can succeed without your future in mind. They don’t think about the fact they are meant to be a mentor.

only one paper in your phd!? sign me up for that program. I'm a second year and I'm trying to accomplish 8 papers during my PhD. this goal is very painful and my anxiety is through the roof.
