I thought Alex Turner too. This is amazing. Love this!

Pretty good cover dude! Incidentally your voice is closer to Alex Turner than Josh Homme. :) My only comment is it would've been nice if the guitar was slightly louder.

I'm not gonna lie, I think think is a weak track on the album, I think the chorus sounds like a bridge and has not enough impact.... your version however I think is better... it makes more sense to me musically... good work man!

One of my favorite tracks on a great album. The beauty of Josh Hommes music is that each song keeps you guessing. No single song is reminiscent of any other song he does

@@47Prosteam fair play if you like it. Personally I think having that fella Mark Ronson producing the album was a terrible idea. Having listened to Villains performed live it is head and shoulders above the recording Ronson produced.

@@technogong Any song that Baby Duck has his hand in is gonna sound cool no matter what. Listen to Feet Dont Fail and Villains of Circumstance and tell me if you think Ronson's input was detrimental. Homme was well aware that Way you uses to do would feel dancy. As a music lover and also someone whos not against dancing.....its probably why its among my favorite tracks. I love how gritty the Black Keys are but i also love Lets Rock as an album in spite of how polished it sounds. Good music is just sounds that have a good hook. The Way you used to do has great hooks. From the thumping A string in the beginning to the cadence of the verse....it just sounds cool to me. I dont mind a departure as i also love the new Desert Sessions stuff. Just good tunes.

@@47Prosteam Yeah I hear that, I feel the album would sound even better if they had some one else producing it, that's all. The songs are much better live, which says a lot for the recording. Ronson is not suited to this style, but I'm sure they chose him because theres dancey songs on the album and coz he's a DJ they thought he'd be good.

@@technogong I've seen QOTSA live in Sacramento. Great show but honestly I thought EODM stole the night. When Josh came out on the kit to play with Jesse during Speaking in Tongues i about lost my shit. I knew it was gonna happen but it was still sick to see live. QOTSA's encore was a bit disappointing. They ended with Song for the Dead which is an epic tune but they cranked amps so high, it was horrific. Couldnt hear anything over my ear drums spasms.... Too bad cuz id have loved hearing it played clearly.
