MartianManHunter2258 - Jim Cornette vs Vince Russo, nah. All Jim Cornette and Vince Russo do is complain about each other and how much they hate each other. Plus on Jim Cornette talking sense show all he ever does is talk about Russo. They deserve one another as far as I’m concerned.

Luke . - No, it wasn’t. After all, Paige had her phone hacked and it was private and personal information that was illegally leaked. So more than likely this was probably settled privately and they either sued the people who leaked the videos or they’ve been criminally prosecuted. But in reality, Paige didn’t do anything wrong. Neither did Xavier or Maddox, they’re just as much victims in this case and it wasn’t their fault either. Granted I don’t think making sex videos is an entirely smart idea, especially on your phone. That’s just my opinion, but you have to ask if this wasn’t on her phone would this have happened? Again I’m not pointing any blame, but a little caution goes a long way.

It couldn't catch on like wrestling. It's not like the guys can compete week after week for fans to learn about them. People have to stop trying to look at it that way. The top competitors usually do 1 or 2 shows per year because the dieting can be ridiculously hard. Try going 1 to 3 days without drinking anything other than maybe getting a cup of ice chips to crunch on. Then pulling your carbs out so low to get your skin as thin as possible. Bodybuilding is a niche market and people who are into it have gladly paid to watch the Mr. Olympia on PPV.

His failure to recognize talent and not see who is OVER, his failure to get coherent and good story lines, his failure on the network and actually getting rid of some shows fans liked, and his failure to get his kids off tv because he hasn't realized they are one of the largest reasons for ratings drops.

Vince has made some mistakes no doubt, but he's also made a ton of successes. I don't think many people are fair to Vince and just want to see him fail I'm happy for him and for anyone who can become successful because it's not easy at all.

I vividly remember the WBF. It seemed so odd at the time and I didn't understand exactly what the WWF was doing at the time. Not to mention, I was a diehard NWA/WCW fan so it really didn't catch my full attention. Needless to say, usually whenever Vince goes outside of his lane he crashes. The WBF. The XFL. Do an episode talking about what Sting was doing during the NWO storyline. He didn't wrestle for a long time and I've read different rumors over the years ranging from him using it as a time to have back and knee surgeries and being able to let them fully heal to him taking personal time off because of alcohol/drugs and that was when he got into church. I always thought that the NWO angle came at a time where he was banged up and thats one reason they decided to go with Hogan as the "3rd member". I'm sure it's not the only reason but imo it was a big factor.

I kind of wonder if Ico Pro was kept around to deflect steroid accusations. Kind of like how Mark McGuire claimed creatine gave him his mass. It is pretty clear in modern times that it is steroids. Brock Lesnar was always an strange outlier for me. He had been in many testing and wellness programs. But that was fixed when UFC got serious about steroid testing and caught him. I was surprised that WWE hasn't caught him, but then I learned because of his part time status that he doesn't follow under the wellness program. Makes sense. Kind of a bummer for current WWE wrestlers who are on the wellness program then for part timers to come in juiced up and looking bigger.

I mean, has anyone interviewed the Weider's on this? I suspect the WBF poaching talent hurt the IFBB and the Mr. O more than they let on, and it was a relief. Also, notice that the WBF show was hosted by Cameo Kneuer. You might know her as 8 time Ms. Olympia Cory Everson's sister!

If not for the WBF, I don't know what Lex Luger would've done. Jim Herd's actions toward Ric Flair undermined Luger's WCW World Heavyweight Championship reign and Luger didn't wanna deal with any more "we want Flair" chants. Since Luger didn't work any matches in 1992 after dropping the title to Sting, there was nothing WCW could do about him returning to bodybuilding even if it was for a Vince McMahon-owned entity..
