I'm in Florida. I've lived here since 1982. Helene flooded my house and yard. Killed my car and both motorcycles. Milton came in a week later and blew my roof off. If another damned hurricane comes at Florida this year, I'm leaving.

Yes, the heat is hard to deal with. You can only take off so much. In the winter you can dress in layers, and actually breathe. Summer is stifling.
