An enclosure moving up and down is prown to failure. In fact, I received my brand new device and right out if the box it presents a so called "Auto Focus Failure" that prevents the machine from working. The manufacturer ask the customer to unscrew 16 screws in order to see if the device does work. It doesn't. Too much marketing with a poor engineering behind. This is unacceptable.

Just opened mine for the first time. The enclosure moved up, and never came back down. Spent 2 hours reading through forums, and adjusting the z-axis... turned it on, and was able to cut a few test pieces. Opened the lid, and removed my cuts - they looked great. Closed the lid and tried to cut a different piece. Boom. Same issue with the gantry getting stuck in the up position. FML. I'm not a fan. Definitely doesn't work as advertised.

Gosh, man, you almost had me to buy it. I want it so bad but I’m having second thoughts about it. I’ve never done anything with this type of technology, but have always wanted to get into it. I don’t even know the first thing about light burn. What do you think? Should I go for it? Release my inner artist? :-)

No, it's a diode laser. You need a CO2 laser to cut clear acrylic. P.S. "Plexiglass" is a brand name, some of which is Polycarbonate, which you DON'T want to cut with a laser. Make sure your clear stuff is cast acrylic.

@@mikedixonphoto yes thanks cutting acrylic or plexi past 8years with co2 but really want something smaller but hope they come up one day wiyh diode laser that can match co2 wavelenght to cut clear

Great Video and Product.... Just a pity that Wecreat are rubbish with email answers or communication........ More than 2 weeks and guess what, Still no replies to my emails to marketing etc. Looks like I'll be buying an xtool laser instead. At least they answered my emails etc. Looks like I'll not be advertising Wecreat at the next commercial fair in France on the 29, 30 and 1st December and then the Christmas markets for the next 5 weeks.

Just 1 thing I will remind people. Diode lasers can't cut or engrave clear acrylic. Unless things have changed.
