I always like that Steve's character ends up going full circle and becoming a wedding singer.
Spanglish is my personal fav of Sandlers. It's mostly a comedy but has a nice blend of drama that gives it plenty of heart.

If I want to give roses, as a rule I only give one, for the sentiment. And as it matches my sense of romance, I steal it from somebody's garden, and manicure it myself. And usually it accompanies a gift or card or note that expresses my feelings more completely. Roses are just an accent to the point, to my way of thinking.

"George" the Boy George look a like in Robbie's band is played by Actress/Actor Alexis Arquette. She was formerly know as Robert Arquette then changed her name to Alexis after becoming Trans-gender. She was a sibling of Rosanna, Patricia and David Arquette. She/he is the guy in "Pulp Fiction" who comes out of the bathroom blasting but missing "Jules" and "Vincent". James - no, it wasn't Blue from Old School (Patrick Cranshaw) as the old man in the bar. It's an easy mistake to make, though, because they bear a resemblance to each other. This actor is Carmen Filpi. You can add him to the catalogue, since he was also in Beetlejuice.

Hey James? Next time u have an anniversary & don’t know what to get your wife…u should get her roses (make sure they smell amazing-super important-many times the pink or coral colored roses smell the best). Spend the money for them-even if they die the next day. Bc she’ll be so surprised, she’ll love them, and honestly…she’s worth the money. Just once. It won’t kill u & bc she knows u never buy roses-it’ll make her feel special. U’ll prob get lucky, too m’friend🤭🖖
