Bella Bill could of been very short. Afrikaans will no longer be a compulsory language. Kids can still do Afrikaans as another subject or chose another language or learning subject. Anyways Afrikaans schools through civil groups like Afri forum will fight any cases where they forced to change their language of teaching. Private schools will become kinda worthless unless you part of a school that does the Cambridge program, which I am not sure will be allowed either. Interesting times.

Afrikaans and other south African languages can only be conversed among South Africans ,the universal language is English,like it or not..its the reality..protecting the rights of children should be the government, not all parents care about their children schooling but which school a child attends ,private, public, home schooling,should be the choice of parents and child. Teachers have the right to feel safe and respected has the authoritative figure in schools. Teaching to respect your elders is a lesson that should be done by parents at home from grade 0.there should be tightening of laws for students that are aggressive and abuse teachers..nothing in this Bela bill addresses the on going abuse from students to teachers..laws to protect teachers

@@PennyPienaar Firstly read my comment. I wanted this video to tell me what the DA did with Roman Cabanac because the thumbnail implied this video would give that info. Secondly, personally I believe it was stupid of the DA to hire any of these racist people we need to work towards building a new great South Africa we don't want racists in the biggest opposition party. I want them to fire them (and don't take forever to do it) and remove them completely from the DA and this is the important one. I want the DA to do better I have put my hope in them to take us to a better South Africa for many years amd now that we on the way there with a GNU they go and do stupid stuff like this that puts it all in jeopardy. And on a tangent while I'm on my soap box. They should look at building up the younger idealy not white DA members with potential and have them take over because John and Helen need to step aside, I thank them for their service but we need a new leadership to take us into this new phase of SA.
