For now I definitely added Tend to my Want to Play on account of farming + flip&write. The description overall seemed pretty sweet and my kind of game. The scratch off cards I was a bit wut tho but maybe it is a fun experience. x)

My favorite was actually that Snakes are born in the dark. Even though Peter said he had nothing to do what happened, I think I remember he did have the car keys with him meaning they didn't have to go through that ordeal. So whether he prompted it or not he definitely saw some justice happening and went along with it. The boyfriend was next level douchebag so no tears were shed reading what happened to him XD Can't say I'm too invested in the outcome though when reading most of the stories. I'll order the new book today : )

You might like to check out the game Tomten: The Tactical Game of Christmas Gnomes which is on kickstarter this month - it is a holiday game with such amazingly cute folk-style art. I backed it as soon as I saw the art.

I've been able to reply with Welcome To on a few other questions before but this time I can just go with Welcome To (F&W) without trying to justify it somehow x) It's not very comboish though. For combotastyness I like the Three Sisters which is R&W.

I think draft and write records is my favorite and write game. I also like newsboys and next stop london

I have stayed away from the "and write" genre because I felt they weren't for me. Just played my first one the other weekend. It was about being a touring musician in Europe. It was interesting, but I don't care to play it again. So I'm thinking the genre isn't for me. Guess I've played enough Yatzee to last me a lifetime?

Is the one you played called On Tour? I feel like they have a few different regions. That one never really appealed to me. Played it once! The "and write" games can be hit or miss I think!

I'm leaning towards the Myths about Israel book by Ilan Pappe! Think it would be good to read a book by an anti-Z Jewish person. Norman Finklestein would be another great person's books to read.

As much as enjoy cascading actions in board games complex flip and writes just don't do it for me. Ganz Schon Clever is probably my favorite. Maybe even Yahtzee! Cartographers is okay i keep trying them and keep being disappointed.
