Absolutely perfection of an album. Full of 80’s vibes with a major hint of Michael Jackson influence. As always in The Weeknd’s music, NO SKIPS. With the help of the charismatic DJ, Jim Carrey, this album has it all. Personally, this album was at the right time for me. Less than Zero hit me in my heart. Dawn FM is that little light you see in the distance. And how do we not talk about the beauty in his transitions from song to song, with the use of Jim and beautiful synths. 10 out of 10 for me.

I don't know how to write fan mail. And never have I wanted to write fan mail before. Abel if you ever read this (which I doubt) but I owe you my life. I listen to Dawn FM every single day and every night before I go to bed I start with A tale by Quincey and keep it moving. I believe Dawn Fm dropped in January last year. The following month my mother died unexpectedly and I lost my house and eventually I felt like I was losing my mind. My daughter was just a few months old and Id carry her and sing Is there someone else everyday together. She loves it now lol. After a while I developed Psychosis and was hallucinating. Dawn FM at that point was the only thing that kept me grounded. I eventually attempted suicide in September and again Dawn FM has been the only comfort for me lately. I just wanted to say Thank you Abel I empathize with your past and this album hits me everyday to my core. Phantom regret by Jim completely tears me down. This album is pure art I hope the universe blesses you with continued prosperity and a long life.

Right! It's taken dozens of listens before I started to understand... It's like this album is a well thought out and sincere... Story about existing in a purgatory of bad habits and trauma. Like Jim says at the end " heavens for those who let go of regret and you have to wait here when you're not all there yet. But you could be by the end of this song" And "you have to be heaven to see heaven" After years of addiction, bad habits and depression and I think I'm finally starting to tune out of dawn fm.
