It really is. It's so well thought out and sincere. Honestly it's been therapy for me. To me it seems like... Dawn fm is a purgatory to exist in until you learn it's lessons. Like Jim says at the end. "Heavens for those who let go of regret and you have to wait here while you're not there yet but you could be by the end of this song." And "you have to be heaven to see heaven" After years of depression and addictions I think I'm starting to finally tune out of dawn fm. And I hope people listening can too.

With the help of the charismatic DJ, Jim Carrey, this album has it all. Personally, this album was at the right time for me. Less than Zero hit me in my heart. I don't know how to write fan mail. And never have I wanted to write fan mail before. Abel if you ever read this (which I doubt) but I owe you my life. I listen to Dawn FM every single day and every night before I go to bed I start with A tale by Quincey and keep it moving. I believe Dawn Fm dropped in January last year. The following month my mother died unexpectedly and I lost my house and eventually I felt like I was losing my mind. My daughter was just a few months old and Id carry her and sing Is there someone else everyday together. She loves it now lol. After a while I developed Psychosis and was hallucinating. Dawn FM at that point was the only thing that kept me grounded. I eventually attempted suicide in September and again Dawn FM has been the only comfort for me lately. I just wanted to say Thank you Abel I empathize with your past and this album hits me everyday to my core. Phantom regret by Jim completely tears me down. This album is pure art I hope the universe blesses you with continued prosperity and a long life.

What makes The Weeknd so special is that he doesn’t care if his album sells well. It was actually mentioned that they wouldn’t be able to sell physical copies until later dates, but he stated that it doesn’t matter to him. I've been listening to him since 2012 (when the mixtapes were free to download off of his website) and love all his work. Having said that, After hours and Dawn FM are the most like the OG mixtapes in the sense that the albums flow into each other and have a unified, dark theme in the lyrics. I feel as though they represent how he's feeling at that time, therefore much more personal. OG fans will love these types of projects while they may be too esoteric for the bandwagoners and critics.

You’ve been going so hard bro. Videos for so many songs on the album, the whole album it’s self is so dope, been listening to this nonstop, or reaction vids of it since it came out. So proud of where you’ve gotten to. I was put onto you in 2015 when I was in high school, I was the “dishwasher” in the back of house at Panera Bread and wanted to see what other people were into for music so I took suggestions for what to play on my playlist back there and a couple of my favorites suggested to play Beauty Behind The Madness and I’ve been hooked ever since, going back to the old music, and loving the new music every release. Was so cool explaining to my dad who you are and your story during the super bowl halftime, and all the other friends I’ve put onto your art. Congratulations again Abel, and thank you for all the amazing music over the years, and all the awesome memories made because of it. Much love bro.
