I recall the first time listening to your cover of this song. The phrasing was clear and complimentary was the first thought but didn’t think much more of the cover. Then I heard the original song more and covers there of and find that though they some have been well done in their own right just are missing that something so I find myself here for a 5th time to listen to this again. I find myself thinking of the phrasing once more and brings to mind complexity by layering. The ebbs and flow of the melody and counter melodies make this for song for me. Well played.
