I haven’t stopped listening to Dawn FM since the release. Literally been on repeat in a loop. AOTY for sure. One of my fav albums in his discography actually. Gasoline is such a vibe and I have danced and cried to it several times already. This album has me crying in the club, or more so my room.

That drum sound is instantly recognisable to me as a Linn Drum Machine. Those drum machines were used in tons of 80s tracks including Don’t You Want Me by The Human League (and many other tracks on their Dare album), Thriller by Michael Jackson, Jump (For My Love) by The Pointer Sisters, it’s all over Prince’s stuff, Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? by Culture Club, Shout by Tears For Fears, Dress You Up by Madonna, Maniac by Michael Sembello, Axel F (also knows as the theme of Beverly Hills Cop) and many others. The list would be too long

When i first heard this song, i was like: "Meh, it's fine but the other tracks are better". Fast forward to almost a month later, and it really grew on me. Now it's one of my favorite tracks in the album. It's such a vibe!
