One detail that I love is the misdirection with the lighting at first. The cyan light makes the red of his suit look black, so it looks like a normal suit that most guests would wear, then he steps out with the red and it grabs your attention. Funny story. That wasn't live. It was previously taped on a prop stage, then cut in when the camera panned. When he takes the Mic from the guy it starts. This sounds SO MUCH BETTER than the studio version. He sounds like a baby on the album. I’m glad I heard this version first. This is one of the most creative performances I’ve seen on TV, let alone some talk show. His creativity sets a high bar for everyone else.

Well he was just hyping the crowd up. Thats why you can hear the autotune go off on that part because he wasnt trying to sing it. So the notes were not in key. So half of what you heard was pitch correction.
