Here's how to actually write a Hit song, since the Title baited us all here. 1) Make it about universal Human Experiences. In the Case of The Weeknd, Love. 2) Use Simplistic Rhyme Schemes. 3) Match each line that rhymes down to the syllable as far as flow. 4) Make it bright and dancy, in the sound of whatever is Popular that year. 5) Repeat, and keep releasing singles and promoting yourself. We can't all be as Talented as The Weeknd, but you can know the forumula. Artists who use it vary vastly, and it's applicable no matter what Year, or Decade you may be in.

The Weeknd not leaving Toronto in 21 years reminds me of the time my bestfriend said to me «i don’t care about nationality i don’t really label myself with any nationality i’m just being me it doesn’t matter where i’m from or where in the world i am» and i said to him «you may say that now but we all have a place that we call home whether it is a house, country or a place somewhere and you might feel more homesick when you get older cause i’m sure old people feel more at peace at their house in their home country»
