This video uses a lot of buildings and scenics, as well as a good number of figures, from my WWII collection to depict a battle between the American Army and the German Wehrmacht along the French-German border in September 1944. I think it's very close in its depiction of the tactics and techniques that both sides employed at this moment in the war. I hope you enjoy it!
I wanted to take the standard practice of displaying photos of military miniatures and "up the game" by telling the story of the battle display as the viewer is led through the diorama visually and audibly. Really captures the viewer's imagination!
I'm a long time collector and creator of military miniatures and an avid student of military history gleaned from my time as a cadet at West Point and many years of service as an Army Officer. I'm also a veteran of the Afghanistan War and published a book about my wartime experience in Afghanistan which you can check out at Http://Rooster-Jones.com/
