Amberlynn Reid created her channel to document what was supposed to be an epic weight loss journey. Instead, the audience saw nothing but drama and catastrophe as Amberlynn Reid almost doubled her bodyweight. The "obese manipulator" hasn't lost weight in the last 5 years, and as a result, she is berated by her audience endlessly. This video will cover the reasons amber receives hate and look into why she's failed at losing weight for all these years.
This is, The Weight-Loss KZbinr Who Became Morbidly Obese.
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2
Also, the idea for this video was inspired by Primink who posted a video on a similar topic in May 2019 titled " Amberlynn Reid: The Obese Manipulator " You can watch their version here - • Amberlynn Reid: The Ob...

She has 100% a binge eating disorder. Constantly going between crash dieting, then binging, then crash dieting, and then being stuck in a negative feedback loop. Eating her emotions 100% and then very narcissistic , refusing to accept her mistakes. She needs psychiatric help, no question about this. Gastric bypass will not help unless she deals with her psychological problems. I really hope she gets proper help. Cancer will only delay her problems being resolved.

reminds me of the time i gained 10 pounds in a week cus I wasn't careful and binged and didn't exercise at all this week. although I was 120 after the weight gain which was considered 'normal weight' for my age category it really 'woke me up' and made me realize 'damn i need to be careful'. I'm not forcing myself into an epic weight loss journey bcs i don't think I can keep up and technically i'm growing but that didn't stop me from working out daily (most of the time) and creating a diet of my own to lose some of that unwanted fat. it's easy to bounce back to square one but this video is a great way to keep you on track. never give up and always go for your goals

This is a huge issue with positive reinforcement for "stating a goal", rather than "achieving a goal". People commenting, "You go girl! Good job!" when they only state their goal, rather than actually doing anything, they get all the positive rewards, without doing any of the work. It's a horrible cycle.

This video hits home for me. Unfortunately, a lot of the negative and selfish behaviors this girl displays in the video, I see in myself. I’ve been struggling with a porn addiction and weight gain for the last few years, and much of the excuses she’s made in the video I feel like I’ve made for myself, like setting goals then not working towards them, making excuses, blaming others, and so on. Two years ago I was 215. Now I’m 285. Most of the weight gain happened in less than a year. Im really grateful that I was able to see this video, because it opened my eyes to the fact that I’m no different than she is. I’ve had similar problems and have acted in a similar way. I really hope that I can take action and change myself for the better in 2024.

Remember that you don’t need to wait until a certain date to start a goal and if you trip up on a day, you shouldn’t beat yourself up over it or feel like you “failed” and decide to give up. Also, for the… non-weight based addiction, i understand it can feel hard to stop suddenly because that kind of thing takes advantage of dopamine receptors. Find a hobby you enjoy, work out, play guitar, do martial arts, anything. Find the triggers that cause you to watch those things and cut them out of your life. If its a social media account, unfollow it, if its a book or picture, get rid of it. I understand if you cant just up and stop, slow down. If you clean your cucumber once a day, try to cut it to once every other day. After a month, cut it to once a week. Then once a month. Then, if you are ready, never. There is a 8 video long series by Shimone Davis that helps. I believe its called Beating P*rn Addictions.

Just in case ya'll aren't aware: -She claims weight loss surgery is expensive, but spends an average of $3k per MONTH on takeout alone. She admitted this herself. She has a shopping addiction as well, spending thousands a month on hauls for her and her current in-house gf. -Amber just recently had been told by weight loss professionals that it would take about a year of progress for her to receive weight loss surgery. She just uploaded a video a few days ago having a tantrum upon hearing this, not understanding why she wouldn't be approved for an instant life-changing procedure, saying she didn't even have "binge eating" disorder. Essentially, she thought she'd manipulate doctors into believing she doesn't have an eating problem, but alas did not. Now she knows there is no avoiding effort, which she will never give. Though this video is a good intro into her weight struggle, a lot of Amber's personal life is not covered, like her abuse to her recent ex-girlfriend, Becky. Becky would feed her, drive her around, and even bathe Amber in bed for over a year. Despite everything, Amber never appreciated anything which led to their breakup. Amber still talks trash about Becky to this day. She's not a great person! EDIT: Here’s a 40 second clip of how she talked to poor Becky, so terrible! kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXTIf4amlJiYmqc

And its not like i stopped eating what i used to, I just ate less. So all in all l, this is definitely possible she just didn't do it. Edit: down to 287, lowest ive been in nearly a decade.

I started at 330lbs and I started dieting last year, I lost 30 lbs that year with some exercise. On the first I said I was done, tired of being fat and gave up everything but fruit, vegitables, and chicken. I joined planet fitness, work out 3 to 4 tomes a week with a 2 mile run and crunches, lifting, etc. I have lost 30 lbs in 3 months! 1 year vs 3 months, absolutely insane. 270 lbs, going for 200.

As a personal trainer, I very rarely take on clients like her, its not that I don't want to but their mental state makes it close to impossible to help them reach their goal. if you were fat in your formative years, odds are your self esteem is directly correlated to your current level of fitness. It can be hard even if you do lose the weight bc we're used to seeing ourselves as inferior to basically everyone. Clown world has given me a run for my money though, as I don't think I would feel as bad about being fat in a school/State/house/Country full of fatties. It's hard to feel inferior anymore because the bar has dropped so low. Currently on a weight loss Journey myself, down from 260+ to 230-. People definitely treat you differently if you are fit vs fat and it's something I guess people would have to see for themselves. When I got fit, I was somehow the pussy slayer. It was odd and very eye-opening. That's cool you help people. And you are right, the mindset is everything. As I just explained, it can be at the core of your personality even. Very difficult to succeed with the mentality that you can't. Whether you think you can, or you cannot, you are right. Bigups for helping people meet their goals as a career and as a life purpose. It's a noble occupation. As you can guess, my self-esteem could be better right now...so I am trying to work on things. 230 pounds and I can do 30+ pushups in a go. It all had to start with struggling to do 10.

I find it really sad how the world demonises people with weight issues. its a serious mental health problem and akin to addiction. it hurts me that she says it is her fault. it is her responsibility yes, but it is not her fault. there are obviously things going on within her that make it difficult to change her life and her choices. it is very sad and I hate how people make fun of people who have these issues or make these passive aggressive comments, if you dont struggle with your weight then you simply do not understand what it's like. issues like this are typically stemmed from childhood trauma just as most addictions are, and having an out of control addiction and being trapped in a body you can barely move in, and are always in pain and discomfort in is a horrible existence and I wish we could collectively be more compassionate about it and view it as every other addiction. please stop blaming people who cannot make better choices, there are reasons why they are unable to make better choices are those reasons are incredibly painful and isolating.

As someone trying to lose weight and get back into shape (I’m around 218 lbs last time I checked) I’m absolutely just baffled at this. She didn’t try to change her diet and sacrifice certain foods, or exercise to lose the weight. And her idea of just changing which days she’ll weigh herself is just… wow. I honestly feel like I’m gonna work harder on myself now and hopefully it’ll pay off.

I’m having the opposite problem, I am at 110lbs and as much as I want to gain weight, it’s just stuck there; I have been told that I get half of my problem of getting weight from eating to slow, having to chew like 15 times per bite, apparently eating slower like that makes the food less effective or something I admire both people trying to get themselves to the right weight fat or skinny because I know how hard it is myself

I don't mean to be a dick and sorry if i come off as one, but losing weight isn't hard it's usually the transitioning to a diet that's hard. I started out at 220 pounds and went down to 170, what truly makes people fail is not wanting to break out of their day to day cycle of eating; life for me is so much easier but to get to this point you have to go through hell.

As someone who is in the Amber verse, this is one of the recent events that feel like we are getting glitches in the matrix. The real issue with Amber is not that she’s afflicted to food (she is). But more than that, she’s addicted to comfort. She can never tell herself, no. It’s not even just food like she claims it is, but she’s addicted to shopping, journals, diets, clutter. She can never put herself in an uncomfortable situation, and even now that she was making a bit of progress because she was going to get weight loss surgery, as soon as she was told that she has to wait 11 more months she gave up. It’s a cycle with her. She’s unwilling to get the proper mental health she needs though.

I used to be morbidly obese when I was a child because my mother would literaly give me anything. I was taken away (for different reason my mother actually not involved I won't get into) and shit hurt harsh when I was 8. Took until I was around 10... I really, REAAAAALLY loved the Utahraptor depicted in Walking with Dinosaurs and I still look at the documentary with stars in my eyes as inaccurate as it may be.. But back then, back in the day, thought they were so amazing, I wanted to be able to sprint like them, run like them, be as fast as them, that unfortunately and logically did not happen but I was so dedicated to my goal as a child I lost a lot of weight, making me even light weight back when I was 14-16. Up until this day, I eat healthy and almost daily exercise through very long walks, which lasts between 3-7 hours. Part of me feels really bad for Amberlynn even though I understand this was her own doing... wish I would find out for her whatever would be a real spark for her to truly go for it and lose all that weight just how I kinda had fake Utahraptor-props from an episode of an inaccurate (but gorgeous) series to be basically my gym teachers.

Dogshit American city design also plays a part, our cities are designed for cars not pedestrians, meaning most cities are shit for walking, if walkable at all, cars are needed, especially if public transportation is poor which it often is here, it makes it harder to be poor having to buy cars to live a proper life, cars are expensive, leaving us with less money to eat healthier, less time as some people have to work multiple jobs etc, the design makes us walk less, Americans visiting Europe often lose weight despite eating about the same

It’s true! I live in the US and it is much cheaper to buy processed junk than actual produce. It’s absolutely ridiculous and it wasn’t always like this. My parents never ate too ramen or Cheeto Mac and cheese growing up. On top of that we have the FDA who doesn’t bother to review ingredients and let’s companies put whatever they want into food because money is more important than people. I try to find produce at discounts whenever I can and cook at home so I’m not tempted to eat junk-it hurts my wallet, but it’s better than becoming a bariatric patient in ten years time.
