Today we return to the work of infamous graphomaniac Sláva Václav Jelínek . Today we will cover his 1932 romance, "The Hangman's Daughter", a tale of the eighteenth century, where a fiendish master criminal, who had already escaped from the literal gallows once, ishinding in an ancient robber castle full of hidden passageways and deadly traps, after he steals a young woman from her family, while coming to know the dark secret of her origin, one of which even she is fully ignorant, all happening in the backdrop of the last great Black Plague epidemic scourging the country.
