In defense of usps collaboration: I write letters. That is my hobby. I have pen pals. I decorate the envelopes. That’s fun for me. At the start of the video she mentioned that the collabed with usps and I paused the video so I could online shop for that. 😂 that’s just what I’m into. In defense of Honda collaboration: Honda makes motorcycles. I have a friend who has a similar shirt and he wears it all the time because he’s big into motorcycles.

As you're talking about the "whys" of how the Pepsi one was designed, for me, I'll bet that it's spoofing/making accessible that thing that really top-end brands do when they splash their logo over *everything* (think Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc.)... I don't really like the outfit, but I definitely get the message of poking fun at these brands, for whom the logo is everything on the clothes, because it's "so important"

As someone who's worked for Forever 21 for quite a bit while in college, I just want to say that the workers find these just as ridiculous as you do. In my experience, the Cheetos line is the most hyped one that came out. People for whatever reason really liked that one. The Pepsi, Honda, and USPS collabs were pretty much all put to the back of the store after a few weeks. Mostly groups of younger middle school/high school kids would come in, try the weird collab clothes on, take funny pictures together, then leave aforementioned clothes all over the floor for us to pick up lol ALSO! For a bit of clarity on how these collabs come to be: the companies approach F21 with their ideas. So, basically, some team from USPS etc. ASKED F21 to do this collab with them. HOPE THIS GIVES SOME INSIGHT!
