so... let me comment... at time...4:06... we had a well on a old farm stead... that was unusable due to the prior owners threw their trash in it... it was located under the concrete slab floor of the back porch... it was 6 ft across and had a metal plate that stayed over it to prevent falling in..... here in East Tennessee... our land is on top of limestone caves and aquifers..... some days during the year the level of the trash would be 20 ft from the top...other times it would drop to say 60ft... so we knew that as the water table dropped so did the trash level... and so the opposite would be true the other times.... it is quite possible that this well has a false bottom... one that floats with the water table... thanks for reading...Im going to watch the rest to see how wrong I am...

Next video from the well of death...Chigger with rappelling gear and big ole bucket using that pulley from a tripod! Diggin dirt from the muck bottom and discovering a bronze cannon! Mark my words, you have the golden horseshoe!

You should bring a friend and rappel down there and dig. We did a Civil War era well once and found hundreds of old bottles. We did use blower to pump fresh air in there.

Once again....the subject of your vids not only fascinate me, they're entertaining on so many levels! You're sense of humor is very much like my own, even in the wording. Your comment on your fear the doll might climb up the rope and it causing a nightmare made me burst out laughing! If you hadnt said this 1st in the vid, I would've said something similar...maybe word for word. Some of the comments are funny as Hell too. The one saying they would'nt of touched the pully cuz of the rotten deer water was hilarious, your reply about hands smelling of beef broth doubled it!

I work for the sewer district and in my line of work, we are in and out of many manholes. Old wells are no different. As there are a lot of dangers in this, known as "confined spaces", I think it's very necessary to warn all those who feel an urge to climb down and explore such a space without a gas detector, a safety harness and winch, and someone to supervise you and monitor gas levels from the top. Those hidden gases are so very dangerous and people need to be aware of it. I had no idea until I started working in the industry of the dangers. As kids, we would play in excavation sights and stuff like this all the time. It's a miracle we all lived knowing what I know now. With all that said, very interesting video. I hope you find the missing clips some day. Stay safe!

Must have been someones home nearby a long time ago. Makes you wonder. Who built that well ? When was it abandoned ? Who lived there and used it ? Are there any descendants of the people who once lived there ?

It was mentioned in the comments that perhaps Beau's magnet deleted some things from his camera. That could be very true! Back in the day when I worked as a DJ we used the equivalent of an 8 track to record our commercials. To clear them we rubbed a heavy duty magnet to erase them.

Ok so im pretty sure that the river flooded before you came to the well, dragging in a baby dear which wouldn't be very strong. It also would have moved some of the rocks, and brought in the doll. There isnt anything in the well this time because there wasn't a flood. This can also be explained because this time there wasnt any water.

Nah, from working closely with engineers on a daily basis the only logical explanation is that you held the magnet too close to the camera & because the magnet was held close to the lens all that residual magnetism while editing auto-deleted a portion of your hard drive.
