Watching the video brought back many fond memmories. I was born in Rhandirmwyn back in 1944. (How time flies!). In the late 50's, every Sunday afternoon, two of us would act as unofficial guides to take a coachload of tourists from the Castle Hotel in Llandovery to see Twm's cave. The coach driver was also our school bus driver who just got fed up doing the same treck on a weekly basis and asked if we could help him out. Back in those days there were no raised walkways nor steps to assist the climb and many never made it all the way to the cave, since most were of retiring age, so they just sat out by the side of the river instead, to be collected on our way back to the coach. The best part of the day was the tips we received from the tourists as they boarded the coach, which was gratefully appreciated by two cash strapped teenagers! Today's Health & Safety officers would be having kittens !!

Good evening Tom, Hannah, the West Country really cake out der proper proud Hannah! 👏 bringing sunshine, even in this soggy day, we love you guys 🌞 ❤ 🌧 Loved the landscape guys, what a beautiful place! And we had not heard of Welsh Robbin hood before this video, super informative 👍 love that feeling of isolation, and to catch the growth spot of a natural handrail too, super rare! 👌 1923 graffiti is a great find too, 1832 trumped it tho! Wow ☕ ❤ 😳 we loves this! The scrambling looked fun, well played! Hyundi and fungi 😆 what a beauty of a long little walk 🚶♂️ 😍 definitely gone on our list! Great video guys, catch you soon, free is a great price! Catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 👍 😀

Oh hey guys! The landscape was incredible, Twm Sion Cati sure knew how to pick a hiding spot! I'd love to go back in the dead of winter to see what's changed with the landscape. Hyundai and Fungi are an easy mix up to make to be fair, I often see an i20 hidden within the bushes!

Oh my God I completely forgot about this guy!! We used to learn about him in school, you've brought back so many memories for me!! 🤣 it must have been like a cool treasure hunt trying to hunt his cave down!!

Despite how close Hannah lived to the cave, she had never heard of him! It was a really cool treasure hunt, when we finally found the steps leading up to it, it was so cool. Really awesome seeing the graffiti as well!

What a stunning place Tom and Hannah. Wales has some stunning scenery that’s for sure. Also has a lot of rain too but we can forgive it for that! Admit it Tom that you were secretly hoping Hannah would slip into the water. All in the spirit of adventure and video creation of course 😆

Cheers Anthony! For the longest time I genuinely thought she would! What we cut was about 2 minutes of her trying to get back to the safe dry land. 😂 But of course, all in the spirit of adventure!

Thank you! Yeah it was incredible, a proper scramble, I even twisted my ankle while slipping on a rock there 😂😭, I kindof want to go back in the winter and in spring just to see how it's changed!

Its such a beautiful site, and there are some crazy stories about Twm Sion Cati, honestly he's worth a read, people aren't really sure what's fact and fiction but they know for sure he was a real person and during his younger years he frequently stole from rich folk

Honestly if you get a chance to do the walk it's worth it. The cave is cool but the highlight is the wider walk. Not very long but has it all! A scramble, a raging river, and of course, great views!

Absolutely beautiful video, I must go! Imagine being a guy robbing rich people, so therefore having lots of money, then sleeping in a damp cave! Was there not a premier Inn near by? 😂😂😂 loved the vid guys, find it hard to keep up with all the other brilliant videos around, but I must try harder. Much love, Baggins x

Honestly it's a stunning area I reckon it'd be quiet even in the height of summer! Yeah, I reckon if you're an outlaw that robs people you should have a few quid to spend on a nice hotel 😂

Really nice and informative vid! Looked really slippy in that cave but would love to give it a try myself, just gave a sub:-) hope to see more 👌

It's well worth it! It was very slippy but I reckon in the summer it'd be easily doable! Thanks so much❤️

I try not to be too po-faced in my YT stuff but l think you two have a good balance. How do all these outlaws find tbe hidden spots but the authorities don't?😄
@NotAnotherAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Honestly we do try and not come across as too po faced but sometimes it can come across like that because we are just too laid back 😂😂 They always find the best spots! Maybe the sheriff was on horseback? 🏇

No, the Real Robin Hood inwhich the English used and changed to pass the story of as English to the wider world. Like they and the French have done with Arthur!
