Sister, I totally support u in not changing the topic until ceasefire! Unfortunately, posts regarding deaths of innocent Palestinians are becoming normal for many to scroll past. May be that's why many 'views craving' news channels have started introducing more "interesting topics" and have trimmed the time for covering Israel-Palestine issues just to keep the audience engaged. OPINION OF A JEWISH ATHIEST As an athiest of Jewish ancestry, here is my opinion. * Antisemitism: Historically Muslims had expelled Christians and Jewish people from the Middle East. They gave them a choice to convert or die. Then when Jewish people fled North, they were a minority in other host countries. They often spoke a different language and were foreign, so it was difficult to find jobs, outside of being entrepreneurial. Also, historically Christians at the time were not allowed to profit from loans. Therefore the only other religion available for Christians to get loans from was usually Jewish people who they essentially asked. A small number of Jewish people did this, as any other available religion would have, if not for the Jewish people. As entrepreneurial people, they also were able to empathize with needing a loan to start a business or needing a house. Pretty soon, even nobility and royalty asked for loans, because like i mentioned Christians were not allowed. But, when a country's economy tanked, as sometimes they often do, and folks defaulted on their business or home loan, they blamed Jewish people as foreigners, and claimed they were greedy. Even royalty promoted this propaganda. They were the minority, and to be clear, the Jewish people essentially worked hard, helped other people to grow their business and family life, and then never got paid back during this time. The propaganda was used as justification for essentially fleesing them of earnings. When in reality, the issue was the Christians banning loans, and then using Jewish people to begin with. Now the stereo types still persist to this day. Jewish people now often feel guilty even for trying to be successful in life. * Israel: Humans are weird creatures. We like to have imaginary lines. The deer outside my home does not know whether they are in Canada or the US. Humans are not so graceful. Jewish people are 0.2% of the world population, with only one tiny Country. Muslims are 25% of the world population, with 50 Countries. Jewish people have nowhere else to go and are fighting just to exist on this earth. As recent events show, discrimination is still an issue. Most of Israel is made up of refugees from the Middle East and from the holocaust, who are now pretty cornered in that tiny country the size of New Jersey. Palestine was not actually created until Israel was. The land was divided at the same time. Israel agreed to the divide, and the Muslims did not. The war happened. Israel allowed the communities to remain and created borders around them after they won. Keep in mind, Palestinian people speak Arabic and practice Islam, there are other places for them to live and feel accepted. There are plenty of Muslims also living in Israel with full rights. But, if you want to call Israel apartheid, I guess that is your agenda to do so. The reality is, any citizen of any religion in Israel share the same rights. I personally don't care much for politics or land disputes. Even democratic society is not free, because 49% don't end up getting what they want in the vote. My political view is "make it make sense". If it's not already clear to you, I think both cultures are capable of living in peace side by side. My hope is they will do so, but in practice that is yet to be evident. * Israel/Hamas war: Hamas broke into houses of sleeping families and murdered children. Beheaded babies, put babies in ovens, killed people horrifically, raped teen girls, paraded their corpses through the streets. The footage of this was taken by Hamas themselves. Hamas has missile launchers outside the windows of kindergartens in Gaza (there is footage), they operate out of hospitals, schools, and other civilian areas. When Israel warns of an attack, Hamas prevents Civilians from leaving the area. Hamas refuses to let civilians in the tunnels for shelter and refuses to share resources. They are funded by Iran, and many of them do not care for Palestinian people. They have referred to them as martyrs. Israel is doing what it has to do to ensure the survival of a small minority on this planet, in a tiny Country. At this point, it's fight or die. That is the reality of the jewish culture in this world right now.

@@sanfooras5799 Read Surah 65:4, then read Surah 33.49. This poorly compiled book promotes sexual relations with pre pubescent children. I'd say that was sad, and also repugnant. Oh and by the way, the earliest Mosques to Rasalullahs time have Qiblas facing towards petra. He never stepped foot inside modern Mecca. Islam has more holes in it than a Swiss cheese!

In regards to the "Palestinian-Israeli" conflict. People who choose the side of Israel do so for one or more of the following four reasons: 1- History, they claim the Israelis are the historical original owners of the historical land of Palestine. 2- Religion, they claim that God promised the historical land of Palestine to the Israelis in the Torah, the Jewish holy Scripture. 3- Compassion, they believe that the Israeli people have been prosecuted and went through enough suffering and its about time they get a place to call home, specially a place that is holy to them 4- Bigotry, you can call it Racism, or simply Hatred. People who hate the Arabs as a race, and would rather see the Israelis of Europe and North America prevail regardless of who's in the wrong. Now to answer the four points: 1- Historically, the land of Palestine did NOT belong to the Israelis first, in fact, even according to the bible itself, the Israelis had to fight the Filistines (Palestinians), the Canaanites (Semitic people from the Arabian Peninsula), and the Amalekites (A known arabian tribe) in order to take over their lands. So even historically the land belonged to Arabs, but if we were to apply the "Whoever owned the land first in history gets to have it" Law, then the world will be an absolute mess! I would like to see the United States with the Native Americans and Northern Ireland with the rest of Ireland before anyone starts lecturing on the Historical aspect. 2- Religiously, the Jewish belief is that the land of Palestine was promised by God to the Israelites. But that is the Jewish belief, it does not justify the rest of the world going along with it. According to Christians the Holy Land belongs to the followers of Jesus peace be upon him, not to the ones who tried to kill him and called him a son of sin. To Muslims the land belongs to the true believers in God. So why does one religion get what it believes while the rest are ignored? Unless you're Jewish I do not know how this could be an argument. 3- Compassion, if the western world believes the Israelites have been through "a lot", then perhaps the western world should make up for its mistakes by giving the Israelites a part of THEIR land not other peoples land. Perhaps Germany should make up for its Holocaust by giving the Israelites some land, or perhaps Spain should make up for its Inquisition by giving the Israelites some land, but not the Arabs, for the Arabs historically had some of the best relations with the Jewish people, in fact until this very day Jewish people live in LARGE communities in many Muslim countries such as Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, etc. A documentary about the Yemenites (Jews of Yemen) had them saying: "We moved to Israel but were treated as second class citizens by European Jews and we came back to Yemen where we were treated far better historically." Some might argue that the Holy Land is the only place where Israelites are willing to move to. My argument is that if their safety is the most important thing, then putting them in Germany or Spain or or or or would be the best solution, it sounds to me that the west wanted to get rid of the Israelites, not to give them a home. 4- Actual Hatred, this is the only reason out of the four that I would see as reasonable, not that I agree with, but I can see how some people are just inherently racist and would want to see a certain group suffer. In conclusion, I ask every human being to look into the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in proper light. The Israelis are European and north American jews who were equipped and trained by the British and given a land that does not belong to them, and then these American and European jews proceeded to genocide an entire population and then formed an apartheid state. And when the original people of the land fight for what is theirs they are deemed as terrorists! Hamas is not Palestine. Agree with the cause of the oppressed people, not with any certain group.

It would have been better if allah had planned for Begin to convert to tantric Buddhism, smoke weed and give all the land back at camp David. That would have been a better plan than the current one. I would say he is one of the worst of planners, based on the results so far.
