Time could help. Members of my family held grudges for decades but finally reconciled. There’s always hope.

At 3:27, the brother realises he can be bigger than he thought he can be... and the tears roll down my face. FORGIVENESS as a subset of God's love, truth, kindness and mercy. Nothing greater.

I’ve heard a few versions of this Celtic carol but to hear the Tabernacle Choir’s version brought me immense shivers, almost to the point of crying. So hauntingly beautiful and powerful!

My Irish heart was almost split in two as I recalled painful relationships, loss and yet the beauty of this version of that ancient Irish Carol had raised my spirit and encourages compassion and love.

I have to watch videos like this every so often. the world is a cold place and stuff like this helps to remind me what I am not doing. It also helps me to get on my knees and ask God to help me to be a better person and love others no matter what.

This video is so appropriate to the Christmas season. This is why Jesus was born. To love, to forgive, to share. Beautifully done.
@sidpheasant75856 жыл бұрын
The Carol is amazing, and it's hard to credit I only found it at Christmas 2018, having managed without it for so long. Surprisingly - given the separate subject matter - the film is a superb complement. And I amaze myself by NOT finding it over-slick and slushy at all, but rather supremely fundamental and meaningful and well-done. Cannot therefore manage this without a tear, and rightly so. Those Bible stories have their eternal power, and THANK GOD for that!

Me too. Agree in every particular. Still only on 599,000 views, 2100 likes and 82 comments. But there is nothing bad, or weak, or flawed, or failed, or dubious about the above. Through the Holy Spirit and His inspiration we can transcend in the direction of true, perfect divinity. Let SOMETHING in the lives of each of us be like that. Then we can stand the chaos and turmoil, meanness, shallowness, blindness, hate, darkness, emptiness and aggression all around us... And dismiss those with love and truth... Bless you, friend ... as indeed you and I have been blessed. The Lord is kind, generous and merciful beyond all, beyond anything that we deserve.

The world needs this more than ever. I pray that the world will no longer seek to be divided but that we can come together through forgiveness and love. Great message and powerful music. What an incredible work of art. Thank You for putting this together.

What a World of Wonder this World Could Be, Glorious
@sidpheasant75853 жыл бұрын
Indeed, there is nothing more wondrous, more dignified, more manly, more human, more Godly, more paradise-like, than healing forgiveness and reconciliation. To take the step of love when every fibre of your being is telling you to keep going that conflict buried so deep, and so very JUSTIFIED and so very logically argued. What a miracle, then, when the Spirit comes down to us and teaches us how to overcome and get past ourselves. To at last let go of that screwed-up inner ball of sinful anger and resentment that has built the biggest edifice in our life and has become our reason and justification for being. It can be done - by you and I, by the leaders of the world, by all who hate and resent and are jealous. The way was shown to us, and is shown again so eloquently in this film - all we have to do is follow...
