I am from Mithi Tharparkar, if you had visited this city then you would surely notice how clean, developed and beautiful it is...It is one of fhe beautiful cities among Sindh. City side population is not going through such crisis but villages are going worse than hell, Allahmidullah this year, it rained alot in Tharparksr and it got fertilizef like never before but because of billions of Locusts all the fertilization got ruined and people lost their 100s of thousands of investment. It felt good that some one if looking at the back end of Tharparkar and showing it on digital media...much respect and Love from Tharparkar

@@jawadsh787 That's because the villagers are dependent on fields and cultivation and for that the best place is the same where they dwell and not everyone can afford living in city and going to villages for work. Whatever even with such difficulties, villagers have started to send their child in cities to educate them and those villagers who could afford a car or a bike had been shifted to cities so that they can get basic facilities without any interruption in their work

I am from Tharparkar and good to see your efforts for poor peoples. Overall Thar is improving and water situation is improving nowadays from philanthropist and Govt both. We live in the UK, our son is just 2 and half years and we are teaching him through role modelling how to respect everything especially natural resources. Iam not sure but here in the UK they put so much emphasis on teaching children to not waste water especially in nurseries. I wish and hope more people learn about it.

Hi Junaid this is the first podcast of yours that I've watched and you've successfully achieved 3 things: 1. Reminded me of my motivation when I was working with the poor farmers of Thar back in 2006 when there weren't even any roads. But compassion and faith were enough. 2. Demonstrated the undeniable significance of going there - I always encouraged people to visit. There is just no other way of understanding their plight. 3. Exemplified a love for the greater good, irrespective of ones faith or belief system. I once had an encounter with a 90 year old pundit that forever changed my life. Maybe when we meet one day I'll tell you about it. Anything to do with Thar will always have my ❤️. Thanks for sharing.

Must mention that our PM Narendra Modiji did incredibly well in sanitation and piped water supply sections. Officially every Indian household would have piped water supply by 2022 and most of the BJP ruled states are open defecation free. Sadly our CM Mamata Banerjee stopped Central's aid and Bengal is still not 100% open defecation free. I sincerely hope Pak's govt would take initiative to uplift the poor people from this misery. Glad that you guys took out time to highlight this issue.

we can put a pipeline there as well but it will be considered a privilege. E.G in villages of Punjab a newly wed bride is not allowed to have a tap and its considered a huge thing if you allow your daughter in law to have her own private tap for water. Their way of thinking cannot be changed unless education is utilized, sadly in a country like Pakistan not even provinces like Sindh can avail good education even in a city like Karachi. Sindh Balochistan are all neglected provinces just like East Pakistan was which led to its independence.

It literally brought tears in my eyes after watching this... I pray to God that Pakistan should have more Junaid if the nation has to progress.. I also faced this situation in my childhood but thanks to governments tremendous efforts that people like me went ahead of that situation and within a decade now I am earning Lacs of rupees every month in my 20s. Junaid if you read this comment, kindly suggest me if I can be a little help my donating some money but I fear if I do so and there is money trail from India to Pakistan I will be in trouble..
