which society has actually done so by removing capital punishment? USA? UK? Pick up the rape, pedophilia and murder statistics and see if your eyes are opened up? The victim and/or it's family deserve justice! And that's the point! May be, God forbids, if you get raped or if your child gets molested, of your brother gets killed, and you are OK with forgiving them or opt for a lenient punishment, but not every victim or their family should be enforced with your ideology. Victims deserve FULL justice in such cases.
@rupeshvislawath4 жыл бұрын
@@khaleefax9553 What's the use of capital punishment if it's not making any change in the society? Problem is not in the severity of the punishment, it's in the culture of the society which suppresses and tabooed the sex so much that people are taking out their frustration on cats, dogs, babies, young boys, dead girls.
@khaleefax95534 жыл бұрын
@@rupeshvislawath As I stated, what's the use of abolishing capital punishment when it has shown no effect in reduction of rape, murder and pedophilia? The examples of USA, England and many other first world countries is right in front of you. Please give a second read to my post. The point behind capital punishment, is that the victims and/or their loved ones, in cases of RAPE, PEDOPHILIA and MURDER - *DESERVE JUSTICE!* How hard is it to understand? And rendering of that justice (in these three crimes only), should have an option of capital punishment. And obviously, if the victim or their loved ones forgive the convicted criminal or opt for a lighter punishment, then who am I to say anything? Think about it this way, God forbids if your child gets raped and/or killed, may be YOU want to forgive the convicted criminal or go for a lighter punishment; however, what YOU opt out, should NOT be automatically enforced in all cases and on all victims.

Islam demands Muslims to develop humbleness,gratitude,caring attitude and generosity. But the culture directly and indirectly promotes the opposite values such as ruthlessness and cruelty. The expectations on men to become successful have turned them into aggressive people. If the men simply earned enough to support a wife, he is still considered not worthy of marriage and such simple men can be accused of "not earning enough" and not being ambitious. To have the millionaire mindset is to become ruthless, uncaring and hard hearted. Why wouldn't these people become rapists? If you want to argue that Islam prohibits rape, then you must agree that Islam prohibits destructive emotional attitudes to grow in people. To say that you can grow whatever attitudes you want and can still control your desire is irrational.

I was once waiting outside of Ocean Mall Karachi for someone and there were 2 traffic police wardens controlling the traffic there. A girl came and asked one of the wardens to help her cross the road. That wardens did help her in crossing the road but he reacted like he had been asked to do some sort of extremely filthy stuff. When he came back from the other side of the road, both the wardens started abusing that girl and other women collectively and literally said "ye kanjirian yaha chudane ati hen meri beti jeans pehne to me uski tange tor du". That's the mentality of our civil guards. This mentality prevails in each and every street and corner of this country and changing this is almost an unrealistic task now. We can only wait now till the Supreme Judge takes His course. Period.

Well done to you sir for a good balanced conversation. Facts over feelings! I’ve heard a lot about this on various sites and it seems that no one has spoken for the victim. Thank you for asking people to contemplate the reasoning and social responsibility. Rape is not an act against a person’s body but an attack on their soul! Hi, i did my thesis on sexual harassment at workplaces being a student of very famous university of Islamabad and believe me i was the one targeted of harassment and i was pointed out every where in uni being not a good character girl. its very sad. its all about power. in our society men are always powerful. those who dont have guts to attack women they ll go for children, if not children they ll go for chickens and cats.

Hi, I think the problem is never that the men are powerful it's the mentality. Let me share a story(it's a real story) with you that I've never shared with anyone when I was just a teen boy some 10 years old I used to go to a hotel and there was a man(worker) who became a friend of mine he was just like a big brother for me he gained my trust and I used to sit with him But I never knew his intension After 2 3 years when one day I visited the hotel he asked me to come into a small room and we sat and he asked me some questions and slowly he started to make a physical contact with me I don't know why I couldn't resist But it was never my will. I will not say that is was a rape but I trusted him so much that I couldn't resist I just escaped from him as early as I could and when I returned home I cried In the washroom and I never went to that hotel ever again. It's the most darkest event that happened in my life I cannot erase the memory from my mind. Believe it or not but I have tears in my eyes while writing this and believe me nobody knows how it feels until it happens to you.

He said that I did not know that girl is our relative.... I was reallllyy freaked out by his words... Like at such young age he was only taught to respect the women only in his family..... 🤯

Junaid Bhai a very balanced point of view from you. I have always been of opinion that as an influential social media personality, your point of view should never alienate the religious, educated individuals and their feelings. I loved this change in your choice of words. I have always respected your opinion and the way you conveyed it this time I loved it. Conservatives or liberal, one thing is for sure, the educated class of Pakistan is evolving and there is a wind of change. I alongwith many of my friends who have had abusive fathers, are now good husbands and fathers or at least we try to be and religion played a big role in the evolution of our attitude. The best way i can summarize your show is, religious or non religious the state is responsible for the sanctity of our blood, money and honor. May Allah bless you in your efforts!!
