That happens when the bolts are not tightened to spec. Caused rocking of the caliper and slowly wears the slack adjusters out then the squealing happens, then snap.

That's a super easy fix dude just change the bracket that holds the caliber!! It's just back out from driving or whatever it would've happened to Cody it just happened the truck is fine 10 minute fix just don't hit the brakes again an blow the Pistons in the caliber

Just need a new caliper bracket. You can get them at most parts stores. I used 3rd gen brackets to fit larger 3rd gen pads and rotors on my 2nd gen.

The calliper mounting bolts breaking is common. They broke on my 07 Ram dually on the right side. When you buy them from Dodge they come in a pack of 4 so you can change them all.

Hey since you have this truck now, do you mind sharing why the rear wheels stick out so much? When you were under the truck looking at the brakes, there seemed to be a spacer or something there, or is that just how the wheel hub on that axle is? I'm just really curious, if you could please share any info on that, that'd be awesome.

That's what happens when the bolts aren't torqued properly...same thing happened on my candy cane f150 except it was the front caliper but it fell off and twisted around the rim got under the rotor and cracked my rim in three spots...so.you got lucky lol

River Sharp top bolt had to rattle loose and then it just kept smacking back and fourth between goring forward and backward creating those rub marks. Since the top bolt would have been no longer holding it in place.
