People would smoke in hospital waiting rooms. I started smoking in 1961, and I remember people smoking in movie theaters. It was a long, long time ago,but I remember that theater seats had ash trays in their arms. You could light up almost anywhere. Really enjoyed your reaction to my favorite player of all time. The Celtics were swept by the Bucks in 1983 largely because a group of players hated the coach Bill Fitch and their goal was to remove Fitch not to win. Now there was a new owner in 1984. But Bird told Red that he was going to lead this team to victory but not if they were playing political games and other BS. Bird ripped his team for tanking and told them never again. Bird was not included in the group that ousted Fitch. Bird later chose Fitch to stand with him when Bird entered the Hall of Fame. Not to take anything from the Bucks. The were excellent but Philly and the Celtics always got in their way

The bucks was a great team. Larry missed a game because he was out with the worst case of the flu. In that game that the fight broke out with Dr j Larry was trash talking and had 42 points to Dr j 6 points. I think it was like three quarters. Bird had great respect for Dr J and I'm sure both of them were caught up in the moment. Bird said to this day he won't sign the picture where they have each other in a choke hold.Bird was amazing! He was such an all around player you never knew what he was going to do. Great reaction ❤

They call that man Larry Legend for a reason.. 🤷‍♂️ Let me tell you bout the G.O.A.T argument. There is no G.O.A.T. because basketball is a team sport. You can't Compare Jordan to Lebron because they play 2 different positions and got 2 different jobs on the court. 🤷‍♂️ That's like trying to Compare John Stockton to Kareem.. Since it's a team sport, there's a G.O.A.T at each position. For me, Larry was the best at his position because he put up the best overall stats by percentage. I don't see the point. These people have millions of dollars to give players, while I watch poor people around our nation suffer in poverty. 😑 I remember when it was easy to budget money. When you could get a $400 weekly paycheck and stick $300 in the bank. Nowadays, you're lucky if you can save 50 bucks
