so raw, so unrehearsed, so from the gut. So very few can do this at this level. So very underated

HOLY SHIT!! this can never be replicated! that battle with the feedback is so awesome, and is also incredibly difficult to tastefully do. this performance has that indescribable quality that makes it that much more legendary. like the part starting at 1:09... so heavy, so playful, so raw and spontaneous. fucking amazing! this is what music is all about! this is no fucking small accomplishment thats for sure. pay your respects to this man

this is probably one of the best versions, purely because of all the trouble he faces during it.

dieselscience is right. Just a massive amount of pedal distortion that over loads the tubes, but it also creates feedback. Whether or not this was an accident or not only jack white can really know I guess. But that's definitely how the sound comes out. Just listen to the feed back at the end.

I understand what true 4377 is. I'm living with someone who resents my very existence even though this person needs me on a day to day basis, and a lady who sent me a Valentine could be mine if I could just get from Virginia to Nova Scotia if I could just get to Nova Scotia 🎸🎹🎙🎵🎶🎷

Sounds like your bound to pack it up I've thought about it for a while And I've thought about the many miles But I think it's time that I've gone away The feelings that you have for me Have gone away it's plain to see And it looks to me that your pulling away I've found it hard to say to you That this is what I have to do But there is no way that I'm gonna stay There are so many things you need to know And I want to tell you before I go But it's hard to think of just what to say I'm sorry to leave you all alone You're sitting silent by the phone But we'd always known there would come a day The bus is warm and softly lit And a hundred people ride in it I guess I'm just another runaway I'm gonna pick it up I'm gonna pick it up today I'm bound pack it up I'm bound pack it up and go away

Is there a tab for the first solo, the one at 2:32 ?
@feedback73419 жыл бұрын
I really wonder how he gets that epic screechy noise on the guitar at 1:10. Might be feedback, I don't know. I can play the song on guitar. I just don't know how to do that. Does anyone have an answer?
@hairlessbaboon63679 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure its due to his guitar not working properly, not sure if he intended to do that
@feedback73419 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I've been trying to get that sound when I play, but I'll look into it more,
@FreeJazzEnthusiast9 жыл бұрын
Feedback Yeah it's an old airline. It had a lil error. Older electric guitars have their moments of failure.
@THINCOVER9 жыл бұрын
+Feedback he's just attacking the high strings through feedback.
@dieselscience8 жыл бұрын
+Feedback At 0:30 it's a screw up. At 1:10 it's with a 'Big Muff' and 'Micro amp' pedal(s) massively over driving the amp tubes causing feedback..
