Eh... Even though I LOVE Roger, and The Who, i wouldn't call him the greatest in history, vocally, that is. I don't know if anyone can top Paul Rodgers for his longevity and insane vocals. And Mike Patton... Probably the most gifted vocalist in rock history. But I do agree there was no front man like Roger! His energy, and his vocals, are awesome.

I'll say it because nobody-else will : Old Guitarists don't fade - they just snap like a string. Malcolm, The-Ox, Angus - not yet. But old vocalists - they fade like my mothers-driving: like Brian Johnson. This is so-sad, but I watched a video of [all things!] of the lady who did the Original ''Road-Runner' tune, ""Poor little road-runner, never bothered anyone!"" - At old-age she had no-timing, No- pace, No Vocal-strength - Again: Shirley-Bassey : same thing - Old, she no-longer gets-it. Vocalists fade.
