A vibrant and energetic performance of one of the more recognizable songs by The Who. From the "hits" disk of the three disk Tommy/Quadrophenia live concert collection. A must-have for Who fans: www.amazon.com/...

Pete Townsend doesn’t get enough credit as a composer. Early on his compositions were going head to head with the likes of Jagger and Richards and Lennon and McCartney and Page and Plant. Those other bands were fortunate to have 2 generational song writers. The who were every bit as influential and cutting edge as they were and they had Pete as their main song writer. That’s unbelievable

Is there anyone else in rock history at age 45 who could sing with that much sustained power and control while running in place for something like 3 minutes, without ever appearing to be the slightest out of breath? Even Mick Jagger at his most athletic couldn't top this performance. He did at 45 what most rockers dream of doing at 23. And still smoking' hot.

So great to see him running in time with the energy of a superb group of musicians. The Who's lyrics are as unbeatable as their sound. Keith Moon cannot be replaced because of his hart, passion & spirit. Also, he was the first one to play rock tunes with this unmatched style. Zac Starkey was very good for the job and he seemed to enjoy it as well. I agree, comparisons are useless but Simon Phillips is really somenthing else (I am sorry guys, I also love Keith Moon) in terms of technical skills as well as musicianship. Keith was a dynamite but this is another level of drumming.
