Just the same Bobbys Archive, out of sync or not, great footage from an era when there wasnt enough video/audio recordings of live material of these early pioneers of the popular modern rock/blues genre - especially bands like The Who. They were the onset of the hard-rock genre with great physical stage presence and showmanship. No one played like them live and wish there was more live footage of The Who during that late 60s, early 70s period. I was fortunate to have seen them in Aug '71, the week Who's Next album was released and saw much of that repertoire along with much of their previous material. That young strong stage exuberance was still very much intact. Great show. Great fans. Great time I'll nevet forget. Thank you Bobbys Archive.

I love reading from fans who got to experience The Who in their prime. I would’ve loved to be alive to see it. I also wish there was more footage, especially of Keith and John. Thank you for commenting and watching my friend.

I bought this record in Toronto in 1971 (I think). I was stoned and carried the record around with me the whole evening. When I got home I put headphones on and cranked the stereo up and will never forget listening to it for the first time. As a garage band bass player John Entwistles playing blew me away, and still does. Can’t believe he’s hardly shown in this video. Great band, great performance, great recording and very cool inserts in the record sleeve.

Fortunate enough to see The Who and Zeppelin many times during the 70s at MSG. Both gave great live performances! The creativity of Jimmy Page and Plant on stage was amazing to listen to. The Who not only played amazingly tight on stage, they were LOUD. The interaction between Moon and Townshend was fun to watch and Entwistle's bass lines were off the chart -- best bass player that I have ever seen. Tough to say who was the better live act -- Zeppelin for Page's amazing guitar solos and innovation, or The Who's ability to rock the house and also give you the unexpected.

Bought this album in the 80s, wore it out, never realized it was an SG Pete was shredding all that time (should've recognized the tone). Sadly, it probably met the same fate as many of his axes.😢 Iconic, classic, visceral yet virtuosity from four HOF talents melding at their peak 👏 👌 😍
