Boats do NOT typically mean underwater! The U in U-boat is for Underwater which is needed because boats are normally on the water. Ships are large boats(multiple sails or engines because they are too big for just 1) U-boat and Submarine refer to ones that travel underwater. So boat is 0-1 sails/engine. ship is 2+ sails/engine and U-boat/submarine travel under the water. (Really boat is ALL watercraft so ships and submarines are boats but the terminology tends to switch when referring the the more specific vessel) Edit: if someone will tell me who was saying boats are underwater I'll go find their stuff to comment on it, I don't have those voices distinguished yet.

Boats are smaller "close to land" vessels (coast, rivers, lakes) - usually less than 50m Ships on the other hand are bigger ones fit for traveling the ocean - usually above 50m submersibles take a special role since they're referred to as boat undependant of its size

Here's a few tips for when you next play Mindustry: 1. Any building that requires power can be used the same as a beam node, you don't need to build around it 2. The small mounds of dirt do not need to be destroyed. you can literally just build over them 3. While clicking and dragging ducts, if you drag it over a wall, building, or liquid, it will automatically order a bridge conveyor to be built, as long as the gap is 3 blocks or less, of course 4. Turbine condensers generate a small amount of water, so you don't need vent condensers (never mind you figured that one out) 5. You cannot send resources to other maps on this planet, only exception is when you are sending a core there 6. Deconstructing buildings only gives you about half the resources back, not all of them 7. 1:21:58 remember that beam nodes also work as small batteries and can store power. this applies to enemies too, so their mines will still work for some time even if you knock out their power (oh you also figured that one out too) 8. Building a regular duct next to a building will ALWAYS cause the building to output to that duct. 9. Duct routers ONLY accept input from behind, not from the sides 10. Using 'B' to rebuild doesn't work if the building was destroyed while you were constructing it 11. Refabricators work about as fast as unit creation, well, at least the refabricators that upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2 12. Large walls can be built even if there is a small wall of the same type underneath it 13. It's best to just build a couple impact drills per resource patch, building more is not very efficient since they aren't over as many resource tiles 14. You might want to make schematics for various buildings

I played through multiple maps until got killed normally I'm fine with this, but on this planet its a hard reset every start no buildings stay or gets damaged like on the other planet.

I think either way you can hold 'b' and drag to rebuild (even after losing), kinda like copy and paste. Only works if it was the AI (no undoing mass deconstruction)

feel a good way to go that final map is everything you did for the first half before the nuke while also preparing defences for the south to be rebuilt after the nuke sadly it seems like its one of those maps where you try and fail to learn the "solution" to the map

I see that you use too many silikon fatories they take 1.2/s grafite and 4.6/s for 3 silicon/s ( I might be wrong) if you recycle some of them you can recover some power Aslo I recomend just cheking building stats and bonuses this can make game easier in some situations

Silicon arc furnaces use 4.8 sand/s and 1.2 graphite/s to produce 4.8 silicon/s. Ducts can only move 15 items/s.
