I was so inspired, impressed, affected, and taken by that “ blues theme” and him going down the road, I wound up loving it, when I was 18, and early 20’s, I was in “The Lost Angels” MC. And looked a lot like Pete, I modeled myself after him, and really had some great times! I had the poster, and the sound track album. However, I rode a Triumph.

Thank you for a great montage of images of the inimitable Christopher Jones. He indeed was a baffling but beautiful young man.

Both songs are awesome because you certainly picked 2 of the best ones. Last night I saw the " Wild Angels " movie and felt I had to listen to the song.

The Dragon Bike (a tight-looking chopped '55-'57 FLH Panhead) that Peter rode in The Wild Angels was a bit of a departure from the lighter bikes (Triumphs, I'd guess) that he rode early-on. Hopper (as "Cowboy") rode a stripped-down H-D in the low-budget drama, "Key Witness." Yeah, I remember Casey Kasem (of all people) in "The Glory Stompers" with Hopper. Bob Tessier was a bike-builder turned stuntman/actor who was in "The Glory Stompers" and "The Born Losers." I have bike-riding friends who met Bob Tessier years ago. Tessier, like Hopper and Fonda was definitely a scene-setter on a chopper back then.

I always liked that theme from the wild angels. Kinda like blues rock amp settings with the hard edge of british steel! Bad ass sound man...gotta try this riff on my rock pro 1000.

I had the Wild Angels soundtrack after seeing the film . I've been trying to buy that old poster with Fonder sitting on his cycle taking a puff but they want a outrageous price for it and its just a B/ W poster .

Great truly great collection of film clips (and sounds) here. It takes me back to better times. I've always thought that James Spader (when he was younger) could have made a great radical in a flick similar to "Wild In The Streets." I grew up with "B" bike flicks like "The Glory Stompers" and "The Wild Angels." Drive-in swill at its very best. Anyone remember a flick called "Medium Cool?" For those who are interested, Peter Fonda has some interesting thoughts behind the making of Easy Rider in his bio, "Don't Tell Dad." If I may, I'd like to dedicate this video (and others like it) to Little Steven's Underground Garage (and to Lenny Kaye). Dennis Hopper (RIP). A great and hopeful 2014 to everyone -- everywhere.
