The Canadian government should be paying you for all the positive advertising you’re doing for our country. Referencing your stop at the antique place, have you ever considered building an icehouse at your cottage? Thank you so much for sharing such beautiful landscape with the rest of us.
@EFRT4 ай бұрын
Ha ha, they should. We hadn’t really thought of it, but that would be a good idea as we could harvest ice in the spring and it would probably last a good part of the summer.

The Wild Chilcotin looks like such an incredible adventure! I’ve never been there myself, but the wilderness and offgrid experience really makes me want to go. The landscapes looks so untouched and remote, and that overland truck just makes it all look even more exciting. Thanks for sharing this awesome episode!

OMG! Chilco Lake. I ,as a kid in 1965, went with my parents who took three of us to a small rainbow filled lake, just a mile or so from Chilco. The road looked similar at that time, dirt and dust, except there were logging trucks on it. We turned off around Alexis Creek if I remember correctly. And it took us 2 days to go the 70 miles. That whole area is a gift from our creator.

Our family moved here, it's absolutely beautiful, makes one feel small. We're 2hrs west of Williams lake. Where the west is still wild. I'd recommend checking out Puntzi tanker base, and the old ranch just past it. There's a fresh spring that is tapped,where we all get our best water from.

From West Chester, OH - Thank you Pete & Carol for taking us along on your adventure. I get stoked when you pull out the map and show us the route. Growing up my family took summer camping trips from the mid-west through the National Parks of The Rockies, Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Badlands and I wanted to always have the maps in my hands. GPS didn’t exist back then but the oh the details of the folded maps!

So much beauty in this episode❤!!! I also follow some channels of people who paddle and camp in remote places in Canada and it's how I came to love Canada. If I was young again I'd want to move there and experience the vast wilderness you have...I'm 72, from the USA, and never realized, till the last year, just how much wilderness you have. I love your travels and video's 😊❤.

As someone who used to travel in my mid 20's to late 30's I greatly appreciate you all taking those 'scenic off-road tours' so we can live vicariously through your journeys 😊Being in my early 60's I'm much more appreciative of all the places I got to see and experience, especially those in the northern parts of our country like Alaska, Montana, northern Idaho and Washington, Utah and Colorado. I do miss the travels, but am happy to live them again through channels like yours. So, thank you!

Another beautiful and enjoyable episode that shows Canada in a very positive way. I always enjoy your very informal and personal way you share your experiences, which motivates me to get out in my own area. In terms of videography, I find your use of the drone to get context shots of where you are travelling and provide a change from the in-vehicle perspective is a very effective way of enriching the visual experience and giving me a feel for where you are. However, I find that one of the challenges of drone photography is that high level drone landscape photography does not show what I would see visiting the area, which, if over-used, can reduce the connection with your experiences. Please keep the personal connection over dramatic high-level drone landscapes.

We visited from New Zealand, and travelled up through there in a Class C back in 2007, stopping for a couple of days in Williams Lake to take in the Williams Lake Stampede, the oldest stampede in Canada. We had almost forgotten just how beautiful that section of road is so once again, thank you for allowing us to revisit the area briefly.

Hi,"Welcome to Tsilhqot'in country "Chilcotin Country"...were I was raised,and still go back every summer... This time if year,at Chilco lake,there is a Grizzly lookout,that you drove by,..where you can watch the Grizzly's catch the Sockeye salmon,and spring salmon,on there way to there spawning grounds.....but with the land slide this past month,the salmon are most likely gonna late,and less... Thanks for posting, " sechanalyagh"..(Thank you)...and letting me and thousands of others see the area,from your point of view.. As all us natives say," come as a guest,and leave as a friend "... I wish your family,nothing but happy trails,and good health.
