Thank you for saving these beautiful horses. I just came back from Beaufort, NC. I was able, from a distance, to see the awesome Shackleford horses!! They were on dunes! It was awesome!!

I think it's a shame that money always takes precedence over matters such as history and culture. and beauty. Can we not set aside some land for these creatures?

Seems like section(s) of land or even government parcels could be set aside for the horses' use. They know how to feed & water themselves in addition to whatever humans share with them. While they can't pay tax for their personal &/or private use; yearly taxes should provide that...

I wish Felix wouldn't have to be saddle trained. If he could live where there is alot of pasture land as free as possible, that's what any adopter should do. Horses don't have to be ridden and I know I won't make myself popular with saying this but there is really no reason in this day and age for us to ride horses at all. We should love them and care for them but riding them is ridiculous. They weren't put on earth for our entertainment.

I agree with most of it. For example, horse betting I hate, because it’s immoral.but horses often have a great bond with their partners
