"Trepanation of the Skull and You" is the original pilot of what Billy and Mandy eventually became, it's a short little 2min short. It's very different, much darker

As someone who loved courage growing up its premise was very relatable as much like courage it can be really hard for a kid to get adults to take you seriously even if there is actually danger. It’s a pretty brilliant premise for a kids horror anthology. This show felt like it went a lot harder too then other kids horror and was more emotionally relatable as well.

Fun fact about both Courage and KND? Both of their creators: John Dilworth and Tom Warburton got their start working at Jumbo Pictures on Doug. Both versions, too.

@Johnny2000s What would be even cooler is if WB bought Jumbo Pictures before Disney shuts it down in 2001. And WB handing the rights to Doug to CN, then Doug becomes a Cartoon-Cartoon, as he, Roger, Boomer, Joe Valentine, Race Canyon are reprised by Billy West. I can't imagine Mr. West saying no to voicing Doug in "CN's Doug". Sorry for making this long, but imagine if Doug is the missing link to unite the media juggernauts: ViacomCBS, Disney and WB, creating peace for all crossover enthusiasts, everywhere.
