I'm probably one of the few people who actually loves this postgame story because of how endearing it is. Not everything has to be battle towers, sometimes all you need is a good solid story. it's a longshot, but I hope that Emma/Essentia is expanded on in Legends ZA considering that game will take place entirely in Lumiose. Depending on the time jump, perhaps she is the police chief of the city now and we get to work with her, or maybe she has a descendant. Can't wait to see what they possibly do.

Optional post-game activities include rematching Essentia at the Looker Bureau, raising your style stat in Lumiose City, hunting for one of the legendary birds, and searching for hidden Mega Stones with your upgraded Mega Ring, which makes them visible for one hour per day.

Yeah XY badly needed a 3rd version to fix the lack of NPC Megas, post-game content, Move tutors, Lack of Kalos Megas & Zygarde plot. The whole game is carried by Megas, QoL updates like Trainer customization & 3D graphics

fo real man rematch gym leaders with they having megas elite 4 should have had megas to begin with and let you rematch them ORAS kinda did it right with their elite 4 even though they only use megas in the rematch but they dont let you rematch the gym leaders

@@e94youtube naw those games didnt revolve around megas like x and y/ORAS if that was the case then SM/USUM should have done the same thing lets go games just decided to include the megas and alolan pokemon but thats about it

i was actually surprised when i realized that looker was not in gen 8, not in sword and shield and not even an ancestor in legends arceus, looker was in every new gen since gen 4 and even in the gen 3 remakes but in gen 8 he just stopped appearing

looker is my favourite character, idek why, but i liked how the post game is pretty low stakes and a fun way to explore the characters and environment in more depth.

This post-game gave me fam and such a cozy hang out spot in XY. I love Looker but I would never have thought to consider him fam before this lol, and Emma's storyline is so touching. Seeing Looker in Moon and ORAS, and not being recognized, HURT ;.;

I really enjoyed X & Y, and i think its a shame that there isnt as much love for the battling post game content. The Battle Maison, as straightforward as it is, does boast quite a bit in terms of the number of different battle styles it encourages you to tey to master. Single battles and double battles of course are featured, but triple battles and even rotation battles now boast even further strategy as there are nuances and rules that not too many people know about with those particular modes. With breeding becoming even more streamlined in gen 6, it's sifnificantly easier to construct teams for these seperate battle modes and try out numerous strategies for each format.

I played X's post game and gave up at the beginning of chapter 2 because I couldn't find the people i was supposed to.

I honestly didn't really enjoy the X&Y story or postgame, my final game time with 2 E4 clears, Mewtwo and Zygarde caught, pretty much all the post-game minus collecting all the Mega Stones was about 10 hours and I had a team full of level 70+ mons - and none of it was memorable
