Woah, that sounds awesome! The raw 606 is such a great sound already, and I actually prefer it to the 808 I had - more body and dirt to the kick and snare. That mod box and the Analog Heat take it to another level though.

Long decay on the snare with all that sandy splash is my LIFE. Analog Solutions used to offer pretty much this same set of mods in the 90s. 606 is super underrated, the D16 Nithonat VST is great because it does a perfect emulation but also has full tone controls unlike the real thing.

I’ve got a modded 505 that’s pretty dope but this 606 with the mods on the side is genius! Usually people are trying to cram as much as they can inside the original cases without cracking them. Sending it into the side like that lets you add a whole lot more knobs

You were getting a fair bit of bass suck-out and loss of kick impact front he Analog Heat. Looks like the AH has a Dry/Wet Mix control? Try adding some of the dry sound back in.

Actually, even if you work at Elektron, it would be so awesome if you could show off the Analog Heat some more so we can learn more about it. Considering buying it. Don't have to be the focus of a video, but just use it more, we learn by watching you use it (like here)! Just like you do with Digitakt

It’s alright, not great. Imo it’s a fun lofi FX box but it’s not the best EOC. You could use the clean circuit and compressor as an EOC but then you’re like, now +FX but you realize you don’t want the FX over your whole mix.
