Pastor Marnes Nel, founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Grace Ministries based in South Africa, had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ that changed his life forever. He was convinced immediately that God had called him into the ministry. Being young and passionate for Christ, he asked the Lord to lead him into all truth. His prayer to God was; “If you reveal to me the truth, I will take it to the Nations.”
Since he started preaching in 2003, the simplicity of the gospel, the love and grace of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross, has been the cornerstone of his ministry. Pastor Marnes believes that Jesus Christ should be a believers ultimate vision, as seen in Hebrews 12 v 2; “Looking away from all that will distract, unto Jesus,” and that it is our purpose to preach the Gospel and bring life and healing to all people.
Pastor Marnes has a passion to establish people in the grace of God and to equip and empower them to actively reach their communities with the gospel and power of God. Thousands of miracles, such as blind eyes seeing, deaf ears hearing, etc. have taken place in hospitals, during meetings and on outreaches.
The heart of his ministry is to see all people receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for every sickness to be healed and for believers to mature in Christ.

WE BELIEVE
We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
There is one God, existing in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Man was created in God’s image, but sin separated us all from God. God sent His only begotten Son to reconcile us back to Him.
God is love and salvation is God‘s gift to man and it is received through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ became flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He was without sin, but took on Himself the sins of the world. He died on the cross and rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is our High Priest and mediator.
The gospel should be preached to all the people of the world in order for them to believe in Jesus and be saved. Faith comes by hearing.
In water baptism as taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ. It confirms that the believer is a new man in Christ. That he has been crucified with Christ, cleansed and raised to be seated with Him in heavenly places.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Believers are empowered, taught and comforted by the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit in us that causes us to bear His fruit in our lives.
In the using of the Communion. It is an opportunity for the believer to partake of the Lord’s body (bread and wine) in remembrance of His death and what He accomplished on the cross.
God brought healing for the sick through Jesus Christ. It is His will to heal all who suffer with sickness. The believer has the power and authority to bring healing to those who are sick.
God wants to transform us into the image of Christ so that we can do the works of Christ on earth.
He has blessed and provided for us everything that we need. Faith in His finished work causes us to receive it in manifestation.
The believer is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, Holy and blameless in His sight.
We believe that God wants to manifest His Kingdom on this earth.
